@@jirving24 Thank you bro it took a lot researching, time, asking questions and watching videos over and over. And having the VW repair manual. Now I know how to take this transmission completely apart fast and I have a much better understanding how manual transmissions works. Stay determine and you can really put things into place!

Interesting removal process! I've had my GTI into VW 3 times. Trans pump keeps leaking. I still feel a feather of vibration/gurgle upon acceleration. (maybe normal) I wish I could be in shop watching them get at that trans like your videos! LOL Love the work!

@@jirving24 Only problem I had was one of the a/c lines didn’t want to come off; I also almost forgot about it too if you noticed lol but that’s why the compressor stayed on the car. I appreciate that a lot just tryna have fun with it. Hope they fix your GTI! What engine is in your GTI? TDI or 2.0T?

I wouldn't say German cars break easy. What I will say is that most people do not take good care of their vehicles. Yeah, you may get away with it in a Toyota Corolla, but people get German sports cars and don't take care of them, then blame the car saying that they are unreliable.

I’ve seen a lot of used/trade-ins bmws with oil leaks cause people can’t afford the maintenance or know how to fix it themselves. It’s deff important for people to take German cars to places that are more familiar with them or that brand

@@zerosplace1245 I’m not an Audi tech nor have a repair manual so I can’t give you a real answer to that. I normally don’t disconnect the battery when I do thermostat housing and waterpumps on VWs. But it’s probably a good idea to anytime fuel being involved. Might be best to find an Audi repair manual to be sure about but you can definitely get away with not having too disconnect the battery your preferences

With the Honda warranty extension on the AC Compressor Shaft leak, I've read that up to 40% of the Honda's coming in for the AC compressor shaft leak warranty extension, that the discharge hose is often a failure item too and is NOT covered by the shaft leak warranty extension. You must be getting a lot of work!
