Hi, I’ve been really intrigued by BITSoM ever since I began my CAT preparation journey, and I wanted to ask a quick question regarding my CAT score. I secured an overall percentile of 95.52, with a VARC percentile of 99.38, a DILR percentile of 92.87, but my Quant percentile is 52.38. While I understand that BITSoM reviews applications holistically, I’m still concerned whether my relatively low Quant percentile could affect my chances. Could you please help clarify this for me?

Hello sir Mohit here, yes sir wahi Coke wala student😂 Thank you for preparation and guidance. Although I scored 20-35-20 in S3 But, I know that’s not sufficient for even 97-98%ile . Kyunki sir bacho ne phoda hai. 80+ score hai almost 10,000 bacho ke.

Just for the confirmation sake I checked sir's cat 21 and 23 predictions and they were almost the same as predicted..so i think now i can confidently rely on sir's analysis and prediction as well.

Thank you so much sir for talking about VARC difficulty, I don't know why is nobody talking about it. I used to score around 28-30 in mocks but scored 12 in cat. And worried about sectional cut-off. Is there possibility of crossing 75%ile? My overall score is 66 (slot 2) - 9/9/9 general female engineer.

Hi, I agree with you. I faced a very similar dip in my VARC score. from scoring around 30s to 13 in the actual paper. It pains a lot more cuz I have about 30 each in the other two sections. The VARC answers make no sense to me. Although I am yet to analyze them deeply. And I am sure all these institutes will somehow still find ways to justify the answer keys given by CAT. But anyway, it seems majority of the people have flunked one of their sections this year (mostly VARC). It will definitely pull down the scores by a few marks. So I feel the final figures Arun sir reached in this video, will further drop by at least 4-5 marks, and bring the stats back to the exact 2022 figures. 99%ile in VARC was at 39 and 40 marks in 2022 and 2023 respectively, ain't no way in hell it'll be the same this year as most of the other youtubers are claiming lmao. Oh, also, I feel you will cross the sectional cutoff in VARC. All hopes up!

@MrOverhaul I just hope whatever you've written is true for the larger population also, I think people have never seen lower cutoffs in varc and after looking at answers you obviously get the logic and in some way defend it, that is the reason they are not lowering the cutoffs. And Thanks for your kind words! All I am looking for is hope at this point.
