My Janome 9480 has a few pre-loaded words. I want more words in the same exact font as what is used for the word “handmade” - there’s no way in the world this Stitch Composer will help me achieve that. This program looks cumbersome and extremely labor intensive. I’m super disappointed

A Very Nice and Extremely Informative Video!!! I am not a quilter, but an Embroiderer. I am learning to do Free Hand Motion Embroidery and have a very old Singer machine from the 1940s that does precisely what the CM 17 does with the Knee Lifter. This maybe another reason I could be getting one of these Janome machines!!! Janome have been one of my favorite brands, I Own the MC 9500 for more than a decade now, and is a workhorse!!!! Thanks for your Super Video!!!!

Can you please ask Janome to make us a Flat Frame Hoop for our Janome Mb4/Mb4s/Mb7's, so that we can Quilt in the Hoop? A Flat Frame Hoop allows us to drape the quilt over the carriage of the machine, so that the excess Quilt can easily drape towards the back of the machine. Brother makes one for the PRS100, and Mighty Hoop makes one as well. But, I want one that will be the same size as our M1 hoop, so that I will have the maximum quilting space, and also not worry about hitting the hoop.

The Miraclestitcher kit from the 90s was the original. Shirley Adams, host of the PBS TV show The Sewing Connection used to use The Miraclestitcher for free motion couching yarn on her TV show with the MC9000.

Can you do free motion sewing on this machine and will Singer universal feet work on it I'm about to buy this to replace 3 singer machines and I have a lot invested in presser feet, lol.

We can only recommend genuine Janome parts for Janome sewing machines, and have not tested other brand accessories on our models. Doing so may void the warranty if they cause an issue. Yes, you can drop the feed dogs on this model for free motion sewing. We have more information on our website at www.janome.com/machines/sewing/sewist-740dc/.

Great tutorial! Looks like I need to go fabric shopping… Will make a larger version for my knitting projects! I was very excited to watch a tutorial on how to make these Japanese rice bags, but got totally completely distracted by that incredible sewing machine! 😂 I have a Janome that is 30+ years old. I will definitely be looking on the Janome website for the price of that modern updated sewing machine. Love that you include your fur baby, Cheeto... he is adorable! 🥰 thank you for a great tutorial!

Love the video but just wondering what the acufeed foot attachment is called with the single hole. Is it OVD? I tried to zoom in but could see the letters. Thank you. I am trying to find the best foot for a scant 1/4”. I have a 9450 and love the HP foot but this gives a perfect 1/4” rather than a scant 1/4” which I need for a quilt with lots and lots seams!! Thanks again.

I'm so confused about the product lineup. Is this a new series of videos to help us? Like is a level 2 (1522) better than a Sewist 721 because the 721 doesnt say Lv 2 in the name? :( Super confused. ALSO, the MOD series is new as well but not in these videos.
@JanomeJAI10 күн бұрын
Hi ! Level 2 means the machine has some features found in our more advanced models, such as ability to adjust the presser foot pressure. It also has a front loading bobbin. The Sewist 721 is a mechanical machine with a top loading bobbin, ideal for a beginner or a casual sewist. If you need further assistance, please email us at : [email protected].
