Hi Sarah…do you know of any day trips from Port Denarau to sawa I lau caves without having to book accommodation in the yasawa islands..so just strictly a day trip?
@saltysarahtravelsАй бұрын
I've heard of day trips, but I couldn't find any active options online! When I visited, our Blue Lagoon Resort tour guides mentioned going in the morning to beat the tours, which I assume were day trippers and cruisers. You might be able to book one through your resort. I think that will be your best bet, but it's not guaranteed. I had that frustration with beginner surfing lessons. I tried to book in advance but in the end was able to book through the resort. There is a Sea Plane Day Trip listed on Viator but it's not currently active. www.viator.com/tours/Nadi/Majestic-Sawa-I-Lau-Caves-Day-Trip-by-Seaplane/d4795-15426P4?pid=P00190443&mcid=42383&medium=link&campaign=yt

This is so amazing!! How long is entire dive?
@saltysarahtravels2 ай бұрын
It was amazing!! But I'm not the best with time and I wasn't wearing a watch, so I'm not positive. Getting to the dive spot didn't take long and we were probably in front of the sharks for 15-20 minutes and then we did the safety stop over the reef! Overall probably around 30 minutes.

No one is doing Northern Lights tours because the predictability is very very low with our almost constant Winter cloud cover. We would get too many complaints from tourists not seeing the lights. No business person in their right mind would build a business around something so unpredictable.

My husband,sister and I will be cruising there in the middle of October . I’m a little unsure as to what kind of seasonal clothes for 2 weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks in advance 😊
@saltysarahtravels3 ай бұрын
That sounds like a wonderful trip! Overall, the days should be warm and the evenings cool. The internet says October is 15-25 degrees Celsius (or 65-80 Fahrenheit). If it was me, I'd pack summer clothes with light jackets for the evenings. When I was in Greece in late September/early October, the days were warm (yet not super hot) but the evenings were cool.

It's it a boat to go from one to another?! Do you know the price? Thanks 😊
@saltysarahtravels3 ай бұрын
Yes, there are ferries between the two islands. Price depends on when you go, but the most common price I'm currently seeing for a one way ticket is 90EUR. santorinidave.com/santorini-to-mykonos

Nice video, thanks for visiting. ☺Sorry, trying not to be snobbish, but I feel I have to say that the castle you show is not Frederiksborg castle, it is Rosenborg castle, where the crown jewels are on display. Frederiksborg Castle is not in Copenhagen, it is in Hillerød, an hour away by public transport.

Oh no! Thank you for telling me! Definitely got it mixed up! I was talking about Frederiksberg Palace (where the zoo is) but definitely used the wrong footage. 🤦🏼♀️ Since I have the wrong spelling and footage, I'm just going to remove that part. Thank you so much for watching and letting me know!

Why aren't your video views increasing? And not reaching people? The reason is: 1. Your video is not being SEO properly 2. Your video is not reaching the right people 3. Not using video hash tags properly 4. Not sharing the video on social media Your video is awesome. Such videos are in great demand. If you do these things correctly. Hopefully, you will get a lot of visitors. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Do you recommend getting trip insurance?
@saltysarahtravels6 ай бұрын
For trip insurance for plane tickets and such, I've never purchased it. Most of the time it's not worth it. Most of the budget ticket prices are non-refundable so there's definitely some risk involved. However, for true emergencies most airlines would probably work with you (though Air Canada will not). On the other hand, travel insurance can be worth it, and it would usually include various aspects of trip protection. But it also includes actual medical emergencies. That being said, I've only ever purchased travel insurance once and it was for my solo trip to Fiji. But if you choose to get insurance, I'd suggest travel insurance rather than basic trip protection. Paying extra for car insurance is not necessary (unless the destination requires it for everyone). Most American car insurance policies include rental car insurance and most credit cards also offer rental car insurance!
