Super easy to set your recording software to only capture the game and discord voice but not the discord notifications. They are definitely distracting.

@@user-ro6hs9id6z ya i understand. right now im working 12 hour days with 2 hours drivetime on top, then 4 hours on both my yt channels, the 3 game servers and 2 discord servers, with 6 hours remaining for sleep, getting ready for work, washing cars, lawn, making food, etc. im very much looking forward to more time so i can actually try at yt instead of just posting raw vids.

@ How do you collect the loot? If someone kills you while you’re scavenging, would you also question them for disrupting your official admin duties? It just seems ridiculous, you should have just let him on his way without the awkward flex

@@BarryMcockiner- first off, staff doesnt play on our own servers. ive never been killed and only killed 3 ppl in 13 months, and that was in testing, in a vid. the loot is donated by 'temp' staff. maybe youre not this way, and i def wasnt when i was a player, but you know how some of your friends might just be like 'im bored im gonna f11 and start over?' so i guess its suicide gear.and regarding 'letting him go' i literally put that tent there the day before, in what i thought was a never traveled place so my first suspicion was esp loot. i personally check every container and at the time i couldnt believe a player found 3 barrels and a tent in the middle of nowhere and didnt check the tent. this was like 4 months ago,. very soon after, like a week, i learned to use admin stashes underground for the next month. after that month, we havent had admin stashes, we found better ways to 'manage' investigations

if it sits around 10, it does. if its around 5, its alot slower. and if its 20, its CRAZY TOWN

we are fortunate enough to not have many rule breakers, and to be like a Fire Department that doesnt have calls all day long. trust me we are looking for problems, but most of the time, we just see fun shxt we think our members would wanna see.

im not sure what ppv means, but its a pvp map in the sense that you can kill anyone at any time for any reason at any moment.

when i played, me and my team committed to being friendly overall. what we found is that over 70% of random players we would encounter were friendly also. my first team ever was built on players that decided not to kill each other. we dont have 'trust issues.' we trust and accept the consequences. its given us more good than bad. this vid is a good example of that and we have many more vids like this. too many, from a spectators PoV. i wanna see FIGHTS. but thats just not the norm.

i havent had this 'stop recording discord pings' type of comment in a couple weeks so ima hava bit of fun w it if you dont mind... 1, these vids are for the members. they are not for anyone else. although im happy to see other ppl watching these vids, i will not cater to non members in any way, shape, or form. im not here to be a youtuber. im here to be an ethical admin on a community server for the video game DayZ. 2, i am an admin that records 100% of the time im playing any game ever. and i also have to monitor the discord for any tickets, offenses, etc. so i need to hear the alerts bc...they alert me to activity, which is the point of alerts. the biggest reason i record 100% of the time is bc around 1 out of 10 interactions i think are gonna happen, dont, and the interactions i think are not gonna happen turn into an interaction. i have no idea how things are gonna play out so i record all the time. 3, when you are watching a yt vid, pretend discord is your cell phone at the dinner table. dont answer it until dinner is over. or...just put discord in your taskbar so if you hear it ring in one of our vids, just look at your taskbar and realize its not you getting a message, its the vid. this might not work for everyone. when i hear a discord message, i personally dont stop everything im doing to check it. idk maybe its self control, or the lack of need of validation, or what. but ive just never had that problem.

@TomatoKingRAW bro I hear you but I don't think you realize that you are able to record game audio and your mic without capturing your entire PC's alerts. If I was you I would want to contribute the best content for your paying channel members. Wild to me that you don't see me as a potential source of income. Regardless you're doing cool stuff, carry on. I get that I am just one but I guarantee I'm not the only one thinking you could do better.

​@@enthusigasmOSRS i get what ur saying, and ur def not the only one. regarding 'best content' of all ppl, i know many things i could do better but i honestly dont want to put any effort into yt at all right now, besides posting the vids. that explanation is in the description, and why its called RAW. i work 12 hour days at my dreamjob and post a vid a day for 2 diff channels, with no extra time anywhere in life. gonna be at least march before i put any effort into this. ive just got to put my time elsewhere.

I have to undust my skill set (not that I ever had much) but I got back into dayz 1 year ago after putting it on the shelf when it was .63 patch so my PVP skilles are very rusted, Matter of fact last night my heart was pounding out of my chest after I shot the guy, I had no idea what to do, it was hilarious. Since I came back its been more of a PVE style of play on PVP server, mostly Namalsk. I enjoy your guys server :) hopping back on now :)

what you mean? all vids are in chronological order. ADMIN VIEW 001 is where the story starts and this vid 260 is where we are at now (delayed a bit)

thats wild! the jurassic server i play is pve so none of this could have happened. however i will say, on the server i played, WAY more risk than standard pvp servers. originally i thought itd be boring but i cant stay alive if i want to lol

@TomatoKingRAW By the name of it I assume you played on Stuart Island with all the Dino's where if you didn't crouch walk everywhere, they heard you and ran at you making inland travel really dangerous. It was the same admin team but this was PVP. They had about four servers and the one I played on was the most dangerous. Most of my kills were engaging someone also engaging Dino's but without me dying to either. Roofs were not safe and they often glitched into buildings too.

@@modelrailwaynoob it was nyhiem. now they changed the map to arsteinen which is nyhiem but larger. thats funny, you say "most of my kills...without dying to either" i would HOPE you didnt die to a person or dino you already killed!

@@TomatoKingRAW If you shoot at one Dino, others come. If you shoot at a player, others come. I don't know if you have played Stuart Island but it's small. The player or Dino you kill is the least of your problems. The Dino's often came in threes and once all are dead, they would respawn quickly. If you had any sense, you shot and moved away quickly. You commented that the mountain ice area on your map was hard. Well Stuart Island Dino map was easily 10 times harder. You were either starving and cold from spawn, then the Dino's got you. The players were the least of your problems. It made vanilla Namalsk look like a holiday park.
