I enjoyed this walk; it was good therapy for me. Your video shows many more people is a small area compared to my part of western America. Every spot and moment were examples of cooperation. As far as I could see, everyone was cooperative and kind. The river surfers are a noted example as each person waited a chance to surf. Further, I did not see obvious objections between women in bikinis and women in religious head scarves or the men with them; that was a unique observation for further discussion. Everyone seemed respected. Your slow, walking, camera cadence was similar to me as if I were there. Because of you and your video, I feel like I have been to this public area in Munich. Steven, USA

I've been to Munich several times since first going there as a high school sophomore on a chaperoned study trip from the Napa Valley in the US. I made it all over the city which I last visited in '17 for the 40th anniversary of my first trip. I never went to this beautiful park, but I did get to go out in '87 with to lovely young women from Australia and their friend from Japan.. I bought them beer and a light dinner at the Hofbrauhaus which I visited again with a woman in the US Army I met in Austria in '89 on my way to Eltz castle. Everyone I have ever met in Germany has been so laid back and cool, especially in Bavaria, and I found that also true in Austria's neighboring Tyrol and some Italian cities, German speaking, in Italy near the Austrian border in the Brenner pass, like Sterzing. It snowed on me twice in Munich, in '77 and '87, and I had with some US friends a hysterical snowball fight with some German locals in '77, made all the more funny by the liter of beer working its way thru my system from a Hofbrauhaus visit. In my early 60's now, I quit drinking unless invited to by family on a holiday but laughably being raised in wine country, and even selling wine out of my hotel's wine closet, I always preferred beer after my first encounter with alcohol, just shy of '16, in Europe in Luzerne's Stadtkeller. There I learned the old adage, do not mix beer and wine, and the first hangover in my life helped me avoid overindulgence which was good since as a father I never tried to drink with my wife and daughter in tow, or as a systems manager when I took colleagues to lunch, though I allowed them to drink even during work hours. Thank you for sharing a video showing a great mix of people enjoying themselves and living as a big family--that is the secret in our world to believe our human race will grow out of its adolescent wars, because in all my travels, which were extensive because my employers required me to teach internationally, across cultures, creeds and skin color I always found people to be good to me if I followed the "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" rule. I do not travel as much as I used to because sites like Y-tube allow so much 'virtual travel' and give us windows to other realities in our world so we do not obsess with our own, lol.
