Welcome to ISLRTC’s KZbin channel where you can learn about Indian Sign Language (ISL), the sign language used by the deaf community in India.
ISLRTC is an autonomous body under the DEPwD, MSJ&E, Government of India. ISLRTC was established in 2015 to promote the use of ISL to make society accessible for deaf people.
ISLRTC’s KZbin channel contains different types of resources such as:
- ISL dictionary including everyday terms, legal terms, academic terms, etc. and recently launched financial terms
- Online self-learning course on basic ISL of 30-40 hours
- Basic orientation with 200 signs for communication with 3-4 year old children
- NCERT textbooks in ISL
- Various important information and announcements by the government in ISL (eg. Har Ghar Tiranga, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Cyber Jagrookta, anti-ragging campaign, etc.)
