George's lyrics for this song were above and beyond anybodys even today, the heartbreaking emotion of human hurting human has never been addressed as deep as this, isn't it a pity ? you're damn right it is and a possible nuclear threat for us all proves it, who's going to hear it when there's no one left alive, another civilization annihilated again, yeh it's a pity .

64 years of The Beatles and I never get bored with The Beatles. I miss them, John and George very much. Both died tragically, John as victim of murder and George as victim of cancer.

WhyTF would anyone mess with this song?Every time i hear George singing this song of his, he pierces my being. The very first note is an intense emotional rush for me that resonates beyond the last note. Beautifully sad & gracefully straightforward, my emotions are embraced & led to where they need to be. From what i understand, George wrote this song expressing his genuine emotions, having experienced an effortless loving bond - like no other - between himself & J,P&R and then witnessing that bond mindlessly fall into a truly tragic state of 4 individual minds & hearts that he no longer recognized as the Beatles.
