Hi. I'm enjoying the stream replay and have subscribed. I usually play snipers in my FO4 runs, so I might be able to help out a bit. Re .308 ammo - Usually Trudy or Carla have a few .308 rounds for sale and I have bought them at Level 2 from them;, but it gets more likely after you get a couple of levels. After about Level 5, both of them will usually have about 20 rounds for sale each time they restock their inventories. Arturo (in Diamond City), KLEO in Goodneighbor, and Cricket are practically guaranteed to have .308 (but again that's at least Level 5. I don't know if they're as likely to have it at Level 2 since I've never gotten to DC before Level 5. Re Hardened Sniper - It's not easy 1) There is one guaranteed on the roof of the Red Rocket that is east of College Square (which is just north of the Cambridge Police station where Rhyse normally sends you to clear out ghouls). 2) There is usually one up in the bell tower of the Old North Church (where you go to meet the Railroad). I think it's supposed to be a guaranteed spawn, but sometimes I've found it on the ground beside the church, so I think it spawns incorrectly sometimes and falls down and it may even spawn inside the terrain (since there have been a couple of times where I haven't found it at all). Arturo, Cricket, and KLEO are also likely to sell one (usually about 250 caps). You can also convert any hunting rifle to a sniper as long as you have the gun nut perk. (BTW - Any pipe pistol can also be made into a .38 pipe sniper rifle).
