Hey man, i just wanna say your my biggest inspiration and your work is just amazing. Your one of the reasons why i started 3d modelling specifically hard surface and texturing, and have been doing it for 6 months now. I am ashamed to say i didnt realise you had created a YT account and instantly got excited as i have found a literal gold mine of content. I have watched the level up digital course you done multiple times and just study how you create the mesh and get the topology you have. As im early into 3D i try to keep myself out of bad habits and learn the best techniques to put into my workflow i think using splines to create the base 3d template so you can model in the perspective view is amazing and helped me alot when starting a model. This has made me understand topology decently well for my learning time and i cant say thank you enough. I am going on a slightly different path to you and aiming for a career in the film industry but who knows what will happen in the coming years. I hope in the future i will be able to meet you and say thank you in person as its a pleasure watching you create this artwork. When i show people your art work on artstation they are always amazed at the amount of detail you put into the models. I know this sounds a bit fan girly but it just has to be said :) keep up the great work and i will be recommending your channel to anyone wanting to learn 3d and specifically vehicles.

Hey, fan of your work)) For camera mapping have you ever tried an open source piece of software called fSpy? You basically throw an image in it and place a couple of lines that matches the perspective of the photo. It gives you exact number of the focal length used in reference shot)) also you can place origin point and program will give you an exact position of your camera in scene like XYZ. Huuuuge time saver imho)))

In the attribute editor under "Render Stats" you can unclick "double sided". GI settings are standard Brute force for Primary GI and Irradiance Point Cloud for secondary GI :)

Ljussättning är fruktansvärt intressant. Och redshift är extremt bekvämt med snabba iterationer och korta rendertider. Blev lite paff när du visade din setup. Det visar på att komplicerat inte alltid är bättre. Snyggt och elegant!

Thanks for great content! But I have a question, what do you do if you don't have scans or blueprints? Do you ever matching cameras and photos in maya? Or did you use ImageModeler?
@andreasezelius27504 жыл бұрын
Never came across a time where I didnt have access to reference material like that. I guess what I would do is just like you say use photos. For the mustang interior I did use a bit of that technique to figure out the dashboard etc.
@STANCEDBOSS4 жыл бұрын
These videos are fantastic! Along with your aircraft series I've been learning a lot, especially when it comes down to both improving my modeling and texturing. They have also helped me to have a much better understanding on how to organize my projects and approach the different parts. I'm really glad that you're doing these and I can't wait to see how you tackle the interior
