I rem in Dublin a crowd of us in the Harcourt Hotel and he came in and drank like a fish before he went to play in a venue across the street. 😂

R.I.P. Brendan... Remember as a child Brendan & The Royal visiting our local town. The tickets went on sale at midday and were gone in an hour. The crowds were so large they had to sell the tickets this way. In later years I remember attending a studio recording in Henry Street. Dublin of one of his hits...

Brendan was wonderfully warm and slightly shy gentleman. Had great time for his friends in Tralee and of course had a very long relationship with our DJ Curtin as a key addition to The Big Eight.
