To this day the C5 is one of the most beautifully designed cars of all time. Even in 2024 it looks like it could have been designed today. Simple and sleek. My 2002 has a fit and finish better than 99% of cars out there today.

I’ve owned my like new C5 since 2012, I think it looks better than a C8,,,C8s looking NOTHING like a Corvette! Corvettes used to have their own distinctive look, the rear round or oval tailights, the long nose with flip up headlights! Now they look like a cheap generic Ferrari! 😕

I was in the absolute best shape of my life in the early 90s! I was a straight up Mouserciser. I did this everyday at 5 am before my calisthenics workout. Looking back on it now, I’m very proud. I designed and stuck to this regimen of Mousercise then exercise for a whole summer and really lifted my competitive edge. Watching this post I know how and why. Kellyn does a lot of mobility and stretching exercises, not just aerobic cardio. My range of motion was ridiculous. I wonder…would this help today🤔? Thank you soooo much for posting!

even with all that they still had to make the car even more structurally sound to make the C6z06 able to remove its top. the reason the C5 z06 didnt have a removable top is b/c the C5 would/ could twist in curves making it impossible to put the roof back on

I’ve been to Walt Disney World & EPCOT when I was 8, I’ve never been to the Hollywood studios before. Boy does Mickey look so good in a white tie & tails, & Minnie sure does look glamorous in that red dress & boa.

This part of this time was before Mickey and his friends watched the videos of the Disney Florida theme parks from the Disney Around The World video.

For the 125th birthday to Walt Disney it would be interesting that it will take place at Disneyland resort

I live only a couple miles from where the desert GM Proving Grounds was in that video. Sadly, it's been gone for a number of years now only to make room for more houses and retail 😢. I absolutely love our 01 convertible. Still one of the best looking Corvettes ever designed.

Bought my first C5 2001 corvette it has 22 years on her, she is old and ruff.Some Teen again girl own it before me and am detailing it I had to take the car apart but I will bring her back too her glory days.

I still have the original VHS tapes of this and the Epcot one.

They had everything right with the C5 platform & still to this day looks & best bang for the buck not saying the other generations aren’t nice , but C5 is that special generation where the horsepower stepped up 💯🇺🇸

I'm really surprised Disney had a Star Wars theme at their park in 1995, this was 20 years before Disney bought the franchise in 2015. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, and people often compared George Lucas's Star Wars franchise to Disney, and they always seemed like a good fit, so obviously he had a partnership with Disney long before he sold it to them. I went to Disney World in 1990 as a kid and I don't remember Star Wars at all in the park at the time.
