From a male perspective, some men are dumb, take dangerous risks, are promiscuous, abusive, go back and forth arguing with women, etc.. But in many cases, men are like this due to learned behavior(s), peer pressure, dysfunctional family circumstances, single-mother homes, incarceration, various forms of abuse. Now, a man can be intellectually stunted, not because he's dumb, but because he intentionally doesnt challenge himself or pretends to be dumb .. Example: I noticed this in Jr. High & High school. There were guys I had classes with that I know were very intelligent, but they pretended to be dumb so they could maintain their so-called friends/cool reputation; or because they were more advanced than the instructor/teacher, thus, they were'nt intellectually challenged. Now, I agree that women have incredible intuition..this is something I learned first hand from my mother while she was alive, and its the same with my wife. For example my mother almost always knew if something was bothering me, and so does my wife. Large percentages of men don't seek counseling for past trauma/mental issues due to shame and the perception of weakness. Men are ingrained with the mindset to keep moving no matter what, because we understand that life is hard, full of pain, hurt and misfortion, so we dont have time for crying. When we do cry we get it out and move on. Now this sounds dumb to some females, but women must understand that we're intellectually different (ie. Our views and thought processes are different). Men arent dumb by default. Men always have a lot on their mind. If we're still trying to build our lives, we're thinking about finances, starting businesses, education/trades/self-improvement, getting married and stabilizing our lives, our mental & physical health, etc. Men arent as dumb as you think..the dumb men and their dysfunctions are always decried and magnified more.
