So I just built this portal, and I'm getting absolutely no reverb from the pedal whatsoever. And the noise gate isn't filtering out much of the noise no matter what setting I put it on. It all just seems to filter the ghost box radio sound to the amplifier but not much else... So far it's just like a glorified speaker!

@@Mike_Delcoro: It appears that the petals are on. No sound comes through the speaker from the spirit box unless the reverb pedal is on. But it's strange, because the little light that indicates when the petals are on do not light up when I turn them on. It's like they're on but not indicating that they're on????? I went through the video, step by step, several times to make sure I had everything hooked up properly and it appears that I do. It's just not functioning the way it should or the way yours does in the video..

Went to use mine for the first time on an investigation. Turned it on and it continuously dings. I charged it the night before, so I know it was fully charged. Anybody have any ideas what the issue could be? I tried reaching out to the company and I'm still waiting for a response...

I have one as well, it does the same thing, I am talking with company now to see if they can resolve the issue. However, from my own research, it seems the bell's actuator is triggered by a magnet, and since this device uses a magnetometer, the bell is actually setting itself off.

Don't bump it , it's only got a spot of hot glue on the battery, then it will bounce around on a bunch of very important stuff you don't want it bumping on , I had to fix my own because they wouldn't fix it anyway love the bell they just need to fix the battery issue.

Thanks to you I was able to create my own spirit box! Thank you! In todays inflation it’s more than 100 dollars especially if you don’t have the ghost stop SB but it is still way more cheaper to make this one than to buy one so 10/10 for me. I appreciate you teaching me. Happy hunting everyone!😊
