Hi I’m not sure you’ll see this, I tried this but I’m not getting issues with the knock block, for whatever reason it stops at the usual point, but then can be pushed further by half inch both ways which then send th knock block off centre.. any ideas?
@ashbrb84532 жыл бұрын
Hi. To be honest, mine does the same. Kind of a damped bit of extra steering lock, for want of a better description. There appears to be some clearance in the slots which allow it. Doesn't seem to have a negative effect though. I've never hit the stops while riding, only 'feet on ground' manoeuvring.
@stuartfalco33642 жыл бұрын
@Ash brb ahhh okay, I did read on a group that a load of the Treks had it, yeah there's no negative affected its only since taking apart the headset. But it's all greased up now which is the most important thing, thanks for the reply mate. Happy trails!

thanks for sharing... i need to do 10 miles running with elevation for paras 10 race but the highest i can get is 325ft ;/ any thoughts in norfolk please ?
@ashbrb84533 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂 elevation isn't one of Norfolk's strong points! The best place for hill running here would be Roman Camp, also known as Beacon Hill, about a mile south of West Runton, on the North Norfolk Coast. It's our highest point of 103 metres and plenty of runners use it for hill training. If you're around Norwich, then Gas Hill and Mousehold would be the best place.

Was Ghost train closed? That's one of my favorite sections. I feel there are too many fences on this trail that break the flow
@ashbrb84533 жыл бұрын
Sadly it was closed 😔 I've heard good things about it but still haven't ridden it, as its been closed on both my visits in Jan & Sept. Completely agree with the fences though. Wouldn't be so bad if they were just pinch points, but they're so tight and fiddly to squeeze a bike through, just kills flow.

@ Ash brb Hi there, nice video. How is possible that you dont have Lower Crown Race? That is part which go under Lower Bearing. It is between your fork and lower bearing.
@ashbrb84533 жыл бұрын

@ashbrb84533 жыл бұрын
Hi Miguel. Yes it is. The stem has key ways machined under it, that the keyed spacers locate into. So nonstandard stem and spacers.

Hi Ash the stem is not bontrager? Where can I buy it? Thanks
@ashbrb84533 жыл бұрын
@@miguelflorindo5588 Hi Miguel. It is the standard Bontrager stem that came with the bike, I haven't felt the need to upgrade. If you're UK based then Triton Cycles and All Terrain Cycles seem to sell then. Although not sure on current stock.
