When my wife and I bought a boat, the t salesman was running me through all the things to do and not to do, he told me and, really emphasized to religiously change this water separator filter. It sounded liked they were seeing a lot of problems with engines because people failed to do so.

The pump after a short time pumps air with the fluid making this $1500 toy a poj, had the pump rebuilt and 2 boats later its pumping fluid and air again, save your money.
