What is the name of this curtain you went through the video so fast I couldn't catch it can you put that somewhere in the comments?

I was thinking about installing one outside my door but for cold. I’m in GA.
@AFSudduthАй бұрын
@@SimplyMzG I'm in GA too! I didn't keep it up for the cold but it definitely helped with keeping heat out. Most of the reviews on Amazon were from colder areas so I think it could help as long as you don't have an HOA or anything that would prevent you from having it outside.

@@jeanneminton5226 haha I guess my accent and pronunciation gives away that I'm in the south! How do you say curtain?
@jeanneminton5226Ай бұрын
Born and raised in the south, it's not a regional thing. It's called glottal stop. Young people think it's cool but It's very annoying and if I hear it even once from a job applicant, they'll have to look elsewhere for employment.
@AFSudduthАй бұрын
@@jeanneminton5226wow, that's so interesting! At 33 I don't feel so young anymore 😅 it sounds like we could all benefit from you teaching the younger generations then. I must confess that even with my past 8 years in education I've never heard of a glottal stop. I'm always learning so thanks for that!

@@AFSudduthYour hair is lovely and you have beautiful hands and legs. Hair thins, hands and legs age so quickly but you'll always feel just about 33 in your mind. I have friends in their 90s who tell me they still feel 35 mentally and are sometimes shocked when they pass a mirror. You're young and healthy and it looks like you'll be experiencing one of life's big miracles this year. How is the adhesive holding up on the door cover? I bought cloth roll-up covers for some French doors that get too much morning sun and every now and then I notice the tops need to be straightened. There's plenty of adhesive and so far they don't seem to mind being ripped away and reattached.
@AFSudduthАй бұрын
@jeanneminton5226 thank you! We welcomed my son into the family two months ago now. The adhesive held up really well but I did end up taking this down and installing a roman shade instead that I can easily roll up/down. The roman shade doesn't help in the cooler months but it helped offset some of the heat in the summer! I didn't like that this one completely blocked the light 24/7 but it was gifted to me so I gave it a try.

How did it hold up being outside?
@AFSudduthАй бұрын
It did fine while I had it up. I ended up taking it down after a few weeks because I didn't like how it blocked the natural light. If you have a solid door that wouldn't be a problem. I think the reviews on Amazon might give you a better idea on longevity.

Amazon says it holds trees of 9’ and up to 120lb, your tree is a little on the thinner side and seemed to wobble when decorating it, so in your experience, do you think it feels sturdy enough to hold a bigger tree?
@AFSudduth3 ай бұрын
Hey, good question! This one is 7' and skinny and I'm not sure about weight. I did use the skinnier tree stand out of the two so if your 9' tree has an inch or 1.5 inch rod, you'd have to use the other support which may make it more steady. I would also say it depends on your decorations. I tend to keep it minimal but my mom always has heavy antique/handmade ornaments and her real tree falls every year even in a traditional stand! I will say that it doesn't wobble if it's just "on". The rotations don't seem to make it wobble at all but I don't put a ton of decorations on.
@jaron23893 ай бұрын
@@AFSudduth thank you! Been wanting a rotating stand since I was a kid but all of them seem to have their cons and people saying they stop working after just days 😭 so I been putting off getting one. This one seems really good tho ❤️
