Hi Tony, I still fly but not as often as I would like due to four children under 10 and working full time. They way I see it the hill's and wind will still be there in 10years. For the best advice about returning to the sport, put a post on 'British Hangies' on Facebook.

I think I'd like to start playing in the clouds at ringstead. Is this the national trust car park place, do you simply turn up and fly? What's the contingency plan for not landing where you started out?

Beautiful! And without the usual chatter from the pilot,and without horrible music,just the sounds of the wind! I wonder if there has ever been a mid-air with another glider in those clouds. How would you prevent it?

What, no blaring rock music! It does present me with another problem, I know the music but can't place it! Flown those cliffs many times. I remember late one evening not bothering to gain height, just going flat out on my Litespeed, to the end & back in 40 minutes.

Sheesh man, dead simple to delete the wind noise and just add some music. Fantastic flight though, reminds me of my days hang gliding back in the late seventies and doing my first eighteen mile XC on my Falcon 4, up at cloud base at 5,800ft! Good days.
