Where is the flare on the tree? Trees shouldn't look like telephone poles coming out of ground. Bad for tees healt.

Buried. Yet the bed is also raised. So multiple problems arose as a result. Builders did some really weird things around here. As did the landscape architects. I do try to fix early issues best I can but am limited.

Yes we do. We are in what I like to call the Autumn Desert. A dry period between seasonal shifts. Not yet seeing a resolution any time soon though.

Very beautiful! things u can't do in South Florida where I grew up ...u could ...but they'd die FAST Nice to see them in the ground. In NC generally ppl put them out in pots, rarely see planted but sometimes. Gorgeous.

Thanks Bobbi! Yes we have some liberties there yet our perrenials are a much shorter list than yours. Up here a lot of annual turnover of plants that quit.

Yep. We had a very wet winter and spring so it all really burst this year. Quite sandy this way. Prior two drier years everything looked banged up. Not the best enviro for suburbia landscapes but we do what we can.

I don't like the term "Parkway." It's too liberally used. The Garden State (and I used to live in the City of Brooklyn) is like a full-fledged freeway or highway and if I'm not mistaken trucks are allowed on most of these highways called parkways. Parkways are strictly, from all my travels across the country, a New York/Brooklyn thing. And even then the only real Parkway is the Belt, and I hate that Parkway. I hate Parkways
@ContentWeatherGuy-gd7lg5 ай бұрын
Well I wont argue with ya on that one! It would qualify as the longest parkway by a mile. It is just a highway built as an interstate.

All the leaves for next summer are already developing inside those small tree buds. They technically exist already. They probably are 2 millimeters in size and not differentiated to leaf forms yet and just a tiny green dot inside the zygotic blossoms inside the dormant buds.
