Great job buddy. I like my TILT. Always fun to see the gravity drop. But I think I like the temperature monitoring more. I’m interested in seeing how much coffee you use and exposure duration.

Yeah so far I like how it works. It’s great to monitor the temp and gravity process. Right now I’m thinking 3-5 ounces depending on which roast I go with. Have a few coffee selections coming in today that I will sample toward the end of fermentation to see which flavor profile will be best. The plan is to ground the coffee on a coarse setting, add it to a purged keg and let the coffee steep in the porter for a few days. Once the flavor is to my liking, I’ll do a closed transfer from the keg (acting as a secondary) with an inline filter to a new purged keg to clean up any of the coffee that may have leaked from the filter. Should be good if all goes well!

Nice setup. My tilt always gives readings way off .. even after calibration. I've stopped using it. I do love a coffee porter though.

I noticed after 5 hours it leveled out and gave me the right read. At first, checking 15 minutes after putting it in it was showing 1.047 when the OG was actually 1.055.
