I have not yet, but right under the battery might be a good spot. I'll be doing that soon. They also have an isolator that you can hit a switch in the Cabin that will shut it off without having to open the engine bay.

The Americam bass 1244 is rated 400 more watts RMS. That's a large amount, and the price isn't much more. I would go with the American bass 🔊 . But this subwoofer isn't no joke eaither.

​@@bansheeboy3061American bass makes really good subwoofers for their price and the hawk is a banger. Audiopipe is also pretty budget-friendly subs and bdc3 an 4 pound hard. If you shop around you can find some pretty good prices on them. I got a new bdc3 12 for 100$, idk of much that would beat it for that price.

@@theduvaldummies Yeah, I just saw some pictures in the Florida Adeture Trail FB group and Osceola looks like a swamp with so much water. The main road is 2WD friendly and pretty dry this was a side road that had no posted signs and was open so we went down, everything else said it was closed.

@@MarreroBuilt My setup is an Amazon special rca from my head unit to my 7 band eq (I just bought a 3ft stinger that will be replacing it) A monster rca that runs from my 7 band (sub out) to my crossover (sub in) and than a stinger back out to my sub. I can’t remember the name of the pair I have running for my 4 channels but I can get a name for them from my local shop, they ran me like $20 and so far I haven’t had issues with them. My systems loud and clear (imo and everyone else who has heard it play in person) for being a cheap setup. As far as my amp for my door speakers I’m running a Skar SK-M4004D which has been really good to me, I’ll run full volume on 2 hr long drives and she won’t ever overheat or anything, I think it’s worth checking out if you’re not happy with your taramps.

No Cel light just preventative maintenance. It can cause a misfire and strange idleing. Also I replaced the fuel pump and filter and this was next. Once I did it, it cranked much faster every time.

I am going to replace mine also. In my case it seems to be stuck open on idle and emissions are super high on idle as well as a weird missfire.

Can regulator cause dry fuel return line ?

I used to have a 12" mofo the new and old style and I personally think this sub is made with better quality materials. I think the mofo has a higher RMS rating but this sub was hitting the lows pretty well. I honestly regret selling it. I would get an Audio Pipe per experience but both subs are amazing for the price just make sure you match up the right amp to get the most out of the sub.

AP hands down it already beat the Skylar in competition by this guy on here he matched both subs identical and the AP killed it by 68% of the vote. 1100 watts RMS at 2 ohm's.

how much ohms you wired it down to ? i just bought a 4stack one and i just wanna know if an 1500.1 ap amp will be able to push it with alot of bass

​@@tgs_itekniquetgs_iteknique5612 This subwoofer is Dual 4 Ohms and the lowest impedance for this single sub is 2 Ohms. This was only 2Ohms,650watts RMS for the AMP I use using. But if you add another subwoofer (4Stack 4Ohms) you can wire both to do 1 Ohm aka a bunch more power. Crutchfield has a wiring diagram that can explain it better.

@@MarreroBuilt nahh i plan on buying a apcle 1500.1 ap monoblock amp for one of the 2200w 4magnet ap sub . that’ll be alot of bass for me i wont be needing another sub so was just hesitant to buy the 1500 ap amp instead of the 1800 ap amp

You can replace the antenna by using a 1st generation Tacoma assembly modification. I don't use the radio much so it doesn't affect me but I had no static, it Also depends how strong your radio towers are,I'm in the city so even without it,it works.

There isn’t a fuse for the power attena to remove so that it dosent try to go up or down ?

I got a custom box built already made for it.Just sold that 4Runner and haven't installed everything on the new one. I'm not sure what hz the builder made it for but he did get the box spec requirement for this sub.

I got 2 in the skar pre fab 32hz box hit pretty good feel like they can do a lil more tho I think it's like 2.1 sqft on each 1 so around 4.2 sqft I like the lows any idea on bringing them out 28-34 Hz?

Move your box the port needs to be the width of the port away from any loading wall and it will sound better your not letting it breath up against that wheel well
