Fantastic set. I think the price is fair for this one. 3 minifigs, a large animal, vehicle and terrain for $35. Thats totally okay.

Cool little set.

I do like the Alien Conquest series (but maybe that's because I've collected all the sets from this series 🙂). I haven't fully checked but my guess is the alternate face for the ADU Soldier is for when he's been "captured" by the Alien Pet. I need to check with the sets within the series to see if this is a common feature but the blank look on the face would fit when the Alien pet is sitting on his head 🙂

Fun little police go cart, maybe that's what police cars look like in France 🤣

Sabine was originally from the animated show Rebels, and later appeared in the live action Ahsoka. I think this is her Rebels version, with the short purple hair.

Odd there's no comic inside the magazine, I guess the extra large poster and the fact it comes with an actual polybag instead of the usual smaller foil pack makes up for the lack of comic. The new Technics magazine doesn't include a comic but I can understand the reason for that, it seems a bit odd to me this one didn't include a Minecraft comic.

I thought that was a bit odd as well!

It's been so long since I've played minecraft. And I apparently don't do the required research before reviewing a set.

Cool, but it's a shame the elbows and knees don't bend, maybe with the clicky joints so they still have some stability and rigidity along with movement.

The spell inside Tasha the Witch Queen's spell book is one she apparently created according to D&D Lore, it's called "Tasha's Hideous Laughter". That's why the printed spell tile has a laughing mouth printed on it 🙂 and why she herself has the option for the laughing alternate face. Mind, the spell is cast on others and causes them to perceive everything as being hilariously funny and fall into fits of laughter (i.e. they fall prone and becomes incapacitated). I guess she's laughing at the victim of her spell! There are so many Easter Eggs within this set, makes the minifigs even more interesting to those interested in D&D.

I should have known. I have used Hideous Laughter in a DnD campaign and in Baldur's Gate 3. I'm still pretty new to that whole world though. Thanks for the information yet again!

I think my favorites are the non-named characters, but honestly each of these figures has pieces that make for so many different customization options. I'd love a few of each of these.

My comment is that I know nothing about the Star Wars Legions, so I won't comment 🙂 I notice the UK version of the Lego comics don't come with collectible cards, they seems mostly identical so the same free gift and content but no collectible card.

Thoughts as an investment? It’s selling crazy high on Amazon uk and retiring

Probably some potential. Especially if it can be found at a discount. I found it 20% off. Not sure if I've seen it much lower than that. I'm not great at giving LEGO investing advice. I'm not holding on to any of these, at least right now.

I think Rex was the main clone in Anakin and Ahsoka's legion, Cody in Obi-Wan's legion, and don't remember who was in Mace Windu's legion.

More likely too late but I can send you the figure you are missing (Tasha the Witch Queen). My box came with four copies of Tasha (and only two of the Paladin), so would be happy to send you the minifig (note: it isn't opened but the scanned QR code suggests it is Tasha). 11:00 Intellect Devourer. The fun fact about this Lego creature is it will fit over a standard minifig head (just like the Alien Conquest "pet"). In D&D lore, the Intellect Devourer magically consumes the brain, teleports into the vacant skull, and takes control of the body. You mention the various skin tones of the figures. Lego had the clever idea of giving all the unnamed characters "gloves". This means you can mix and match any head with any torso, there won't be any problems with the colour of the hands not matching that of the face.
@SoBricks7 күн бұрын
That is some fantastic information! Thank you so much. I have picked up the Tasha figure now. So no need to send one my way. I am dissapointed that I forgot what Intellect Devourers were called. They are a somewaht substantial part in the start of Baldur's Gate 3. And yes, the skin tones and different hands is really smart and inclusive. Plus it makes sense lore wise, because characters like to be kitted up. Thanks again!
