The paintings are so cool! I like the pink one especially. I'm looking forward to the Niod reviews, the only thing I've tried is the modulating glucosides serum and I loved it!

I just ordered 2 of these, and tried it today. It didn't foam at all. I'm going to try mixing in a bowl instead of my hand. Maybe in my bubble maker. My packaging's label has a typo. The "t" is missing from toner. That's probably why it was 50% off then get one free.

Are you wearing sunscreen at all during ur quest to fade hyperpigmentation? As well vitamin C for daytime? This all helps with effectiveness of fading dark spots, I myself have very tan skin that is prone to hyperpigmentation, in school currently to be a nurse practitioner in dermatology

I have dry & dehydrated skin and have been eyeballing the kombucha essence. I like the Laniege cream skin and can’t live without it but not because I love it but because I haven’t seen anything that I think will be what I’m looking for but this. Only con about the Laniege is that it feels like it sits on my skin rather then going into skin. Plus update if you have any irritation and if hydrating while it’s in your routine. Happy August

For hyperpigmentation u have to use Minimalist Tranexamic acid 0.3%. Watch Dermatologist Vanita Rattan's video on this. She guides well. It's safe to use even I'm using it

The newer Klairs Cleanser is a good gentle Cleanser that foams. If you haven’t tried it already. It doesn’t strip my skin at all. Really nice. I think it’s called the Gentle Black Facial Cleanser. I’m really enjoying that and the B.Lab Matcha Hydrating Foam Cleanser. I only like non-foaming in the Am. In the Pm I feel like I need foaming to feel clean.

I'll have to give that one a try or add it to my list. Sounds really nice!

I bought the same sunscreen, on the Same recommendation, from Dr. Dray, and had a similar experience. I was shiny af, looked like a grease ball, but felt like a dehydrated Turkey by the end of the day. After a few days of consistent use it started to burn around my eyes and sting my lower lip for some reason. I ended up using it on my arms and legs, mainly legs.
@ajkbeauty06222 жыл бұрын
WOW! It's so interesting to hear that you has the same experience. This was a hard review to film since the product has so many fans. It wasn't for me but I know it sparks love for so many others. It's confirming for me to hear your thoughts...we will find a sunscreen favorite some day haha!

Skincare question: I’ve been switching between the Geek & Gorgeous 0.1% Retinal and the 1% Retinol Treatment from Paula’s Choice for about 6 months. I’m a little sensitive so I’ve took my retinoid journey slow and steady. I think I’m ready to step up from 1% retinol. Do you think I should go to Adapalene and then Tret or should I go straight to Tret? I do have adult acne. Combo leaning oily skin. Everything has been under control pretty well with the retinol. I just feel like I’m ready to step up. I just turned 30 and I want to keep up with my anti-aging and pre-acne care.
@ajkbeauty06222 жыл бұрын
When it comes to Tret, that’s gonna have to be a question for your derm (I’m about a year or so into Curology/Agency and loving it at a pretty low percentage still). However, I had a lot of luck with Adapalene to start…I used that for about 3-4 months before moving to Curology. It certainly was a bump up from regular retinol serums…and if I had to do it again I’d probably start there. My skin just adjusted to Tret so much more smoothly in my opinion compared to just diving right it in. Hope that helps!!!! 🙂

Where the peach slices snail mask is thick and hard to get off, the moisturizer is the exact opposite. It comes out like water in your hand, goes on like water and disappears like water lol. In my experience anyways lol. It is so thin. I’ve never seen a moisturizer that thin. It’s literally a serum in a squeeze tube.
@ajkbeauty06222 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! I'll have to keep that in mind once I get it into my routine. I'm curious as to what the toner consistency is???
@jesswhite12 жыл бұрын
@@ajkbeauty0622 the toner is definitely nice. It’s watery but has that touch of body to it. It has a touch of Viscosity to it but it’s not thick. It’s hydrating and a touch moisturizing. Like everything else with this line it’s nice but basic. It’s not going to Wow you but I think you might like it. Kinda like the Soon-Jung toner. It’s basic but you know it works. This toner is a slightly viscous version of that.
@jesswhite12 жыл бұрын
Kinda sad to admit but I have a whole routine for my lips, because they are so chronically dry. 2x a week I use the By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water to exfoliate my lips. After I exfoliate I take a cotton pad, a really thin one, and soak it In the Cosrx Snail Mucin Power Essence and put it on my lips as a make shift lip mask. I leave that on for 2-5 minutes. Usually while I’m preparing for bed. Then I use the Skinfix Barrier+ Lip Repair Balm and top that off with either to Cosrx Lip Sleep Propolis Mask or the Make Beauty Pink Matter Balm. The rest of the week I use the Skinfix religiously throughout the day and one of the two lip masks at night over the Skinfix. Working full time now at a place where Im dealing with the public and wearing a Face mask 6-10 hours a day, my lips get SOO dry. I can deal with the break outs. I can deal with the slight dehydration in my skin. I can deal with breathing my own hot air all day. But dry cracked lips is where I draw the line lol. It drives me insane. After a few months of playing around with different products and different methods, I finally found a routine that keeps my lips looking plump and hydrated.

Love this video. I want to get the flawless complexion but I'm worried about it being heavy for my combo-oily skin. Have you tried the Skin Aqua super moisture milk spf 50+? I didn't see it on your blog though but I'm wondering if you've used it at all
@ajkbeauty06222 жыл бұрын
I haven't used that one yet but it is on my list to try! Looking back on this video I would say it's generally too heavy for oily-combo skin. Since then I have done back to all chemical sunscreens. I'm loving the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen now and the re-released Birch Sunscreen from Round Lab.

Heyy I love how you’re so descriptive in your videos! Would you still recommend the glow recipe pineapple c serum for dark spots and hyperpigmentation and was it really helpful to you in your problem areas?
@ajkbeauty06223 жыл бұрын
Yes! It is still one of my favorites and I will keep coming back to it for brightening and dark spot maintenance. I prefer a pure Vitamin C serum to really fade the darker spots but the Pineapple C is good for upkeep and an overall glow look.

I love Sweet Chef! I have super sensitive skin prone to flaking, redness, irritation and acne and every product in the line actually calms my skin. I do agree some of the products could be more potent, but for super sensitive skin, it’s a win. I love the chill mist to set my makeup because it isn’t tacky, heavy, greasy or sparkly.

I don’t see why the two products wouldn’t work well together. I would say to patch test before going all in with both. Better to play it safe and make sure you’re skin is okay with the combo.
