After setting up for a mapping mission, I realised that it doesn't take any photos whilst flying the route. Is there a setting I missed?

How get raw data from l2
@djiacademyАй бұрын
Hi! When using L2 for manual collection, you can switch the camera to LiDAR mode, where the capture icon turns blue. Then, you can get raw LiDAR data. In flight route mode, you can select LiDAR at 02:38 in this video.

Hi, may I confirm if your inquiry is related to the FC30 delivery drone? Could you please provide a more detailed description to better assist you with your concerns?

Does the M3E uses the bottom sensors to keep fix distance from ground in OPTIMAL mode to return to home ? will it fly at fix distance from ground and RTH ?
@djiacademyАй бұрын
In "Optimal RTH", the drone will adjust the RTH route altitude depending to the terrain, but you cannot set a fix distance for now.
@djiacademyАй бұрын
Matrice 30 series also support this feature after upgrading to the latest firmware.
@rinexco8Ай бұрын
when we chose fixed elevation from DSM how will RTH at the end point of mission ? it will fly over DSM with fixed elevation and return to home or increasing elevation and RTH horizontally ? suppose we are at one side of mountain and M3E is on the other side and there is a mountain between home and end point .
@djiacademyАй бұрын
Hi! The DSM settings only affect during the mission. Regarding the RTH, it will perform either Preset altitude(increase elevation), or Optimal(automatically according to terrain and obstacle). For complex environment, we suggest Preset and set a proper altitude to ensure flight safety. You can watch this video to learn more details: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oF7HgX54g9eplcUsi=SKEumjrvVYTn1x9O

@@djiacademy About preset mode in mountain we should set max altitude for max safety in most cases max height is 200 m higher than takeoff point and if we set this altitude plus fix distance it causes M3 consume large amount of battery power .moreover we should measure max elevation of flight mission in office and in some cases at field we define flight mission and no access to measure max elevation. About second method please explain more that how M3E find the proper elevation? Please release an update for RTH to use DSM it will be safe and power efficiency.
@djiacademyАй бұрын
Thanks for your advice, we've submit this feedback. "Optimal RTH" will try to follow the terrain, but the pilot should still pay attention and watch the AR RTH green route on the screen. In some cases, M3E series may not have enough battery to cross the mountain, we suggest moving to a better takeoff point.
@rinexco8Ай бұрын
For mapping project specifically in mountain we haven't enough options to move to different positions. So please solve this problem.in Some apps like Mappilot RTH without any risk and automatically. Thanks

When orbiting a tower in autonomous mode, will the drone stop automatically when reaching the bottom of the tower?
@djiacademyАй бұрын
Hi! The POI (smart orbit) feature will only let the drone surround horizontally, and won't stop until you exit this mode or encounter a obstacle. The ascent or descent of the airplane requires manual operation. If you need fully autonomous mission, the new released Geometric Route can help you with that.

Is it possible to take the real-time stream to operate it outside the FlightHub 2 App and social networks, i.e. process it in my own App or system on my computer?
Custom break point is big…especially for relatively low solar inspections when a tree gets in the way, it looks like it would be very easy to adjust the mission in real time rather than starting over. Thank you for the details behind these updates. Well done.

Did the comp screenshots from Alex suggest the L1 was actually NOT capable of getting those jobs done, particularly the shockingly bad result of transmission line capturing? Didn't many experts make strong claims that the L1 was perfectly fine doing just that? And when you say how clean the L2 point cloud is, can you please zoom in to the ground areas under trees and show a proper profile?

I have been flying your products since phantom 2. Just purchased n3T. And have 3 month trial for Terra. I have wanted to learn photogrammetry for a long time, but always figured it was too difficult… was hoping this would be a simple starting point for me… but alas it is more of the same BS videos, done by someone who has either designed it. Or used it 7 hours a day for 10 years. I understood maybe 5% of the video. Leaves me feeling like an idiot for not knowing all the acronyms, and tech jargon you are talking about. Absolutely a horrible video for someone like me, debating trying the software, and considering purchasing after. If it can not be explained to a beginner in an intro video, then I guess you are way smarter than me. Congratulations, a product sale down the drain for DJI. 😡
