Why the cutlass instead of blades though? Sure, blades does it every 9th hit , but you can get in 12 attacks per second instead of cutlass' 2 per second. Or is it just preference?

I started with sword and honestly, it kinda sucked for me. I struggled a lot with fighting behemoths alone or on a team. It wasn't until I switched to chain blades that I started doing a lot better. I beat a couple behemoths by myself and was actually able to be useful on a team. And, unlike with the sword that only allowed me to deal core, stagger, and part damage, the chain blades were also the first weapon I was able to deal wound damage with. I can honestly say that chain blades will be my forever main weapon cuz I had a lot of fun with them.

Saying there is no p2w but following it up by you can progress faster if you pay. Bruh if I can spend money to get somewhere faster it's p2w just say that the economy is unaffected or something(no idea if it's even true) but don't shove it aside because getting somewhere faster with less game time with money is what p2w is. I can play lost ark f2p and get to the latest raid and I could also spend money and play way less with the same result but it doesn't change the fact that it's p2w.

Game turned to trash after a few updates... Hardly even see news about it on gaming sites for almost a year. The only news this game had recently was a Valentine event announcement a few days ago.

I remember playing this game a lot 2-3 years ago. I was unfortunately hit with a data reset (I'm on ps4 btw) which deleted all my games. A couple days ago I reinstalled it and my progress made it through the reset. It's still as fun as I remember.

As a new player (I think) it's petty good like I find it fun trying out new omnicells trying to beat strong behemoths I really like it and also can someone tell me if I'm like a noob or not I'm trying to get the iceborne omnicell I'm only missing 3 ingredients and I have lvl 12 on my sword so am I a noob or not?

It's quite literally bootleg monster hunter. Crazy how my brother and his friend hype up this game but honestly it's looking like a game for the monster hunter dropouts that couldn't get passed their first monster hunt. There's really no immersion, I don't get the feel of being a hunter from dauntless.

Monster hunt world is one of the few games that I could never really get into,it felt too grindy for me so it's nice to have something that's not as complex

Newer player, just hit chain blades 16, so far it is a fun game, only kind of annoying this is having to farm the same behemoths over and over for armor but I guess what else do you expect

you know what i hate the most besides the reforging lowers your power n resistance is when ur tryin to get partd to craft better weps n gear some guy comes in and kills the behemoth in 2 hits ive stopped playin cus of this and mainly how im so pissed about the reforge starts everything over
