Watching my father Theodore Marama and people I never met or don't remember meeting but remember Dad talking fondly about his Samoan and Nuiean mates...Sonny Lakatani and Theo Brunt Miss you dad.
The years tua was fighting professionally back in the 90s and mid 2000’s had a harder all round heavyweight division throughout! You only need to look back to that roster to see the difference of greater fighters and harder opponents to face on it, compared with today’s heavyweight roster! Most are all overrated and some are even pumped up in weigh to compete as heavyweights. Tua fought same real hard boxers!, hats off to him!

Can Louisa explain more why we are not all equal further other than bad health and crime statistics etc. What she is pointing out is due to bad lifestyle choice. Nothing to do with colonization.

Great documentary I grew up in Sth Akl moved to Sydney many years ago. I’m so proud of those young men digging into their own finances to bankroll their community projects. It’s legitimate causes like this that deserves funding. Keep up the brilliant work ✅

The Treaty cannot be rewritten, this is scaremongering. The only way to change the Treaty is by re-negotiation, which no one is proposing. The hikoi is for - and by - a slice of the debate. Senior Maori members of NZ First have a different take, likewise in other parties. A third of Cabinet have Maori heritage. So clearly not all Maori think the same, not all are marching. The Treaty is also not government, governance, policy, programmes or fiscal (tax and spend). All the negative indicator stuff comes from economic and social dynamics, mostly poverty. You can't fix poverty through Treaty means. It's dumb to try.

The rangatira (chiefs) at that time reserved the right to self determination in perpetuity, that is by Māori for Māori. The coalition government has been dissolving and reducing the programs that have been established in recent years that are structururally by Māori for Māori and were initiated to enable Māori to achieve better outcomes. Using rhetoric like race based funding etc. Its assimilation, trying to water us down again and limit the vehicles we’re creating for ourselves to be strong in our culture and be well over all. Basically everything has to be mainstream and the government will not support the Māori tribes to do things for themselves even tho the government has attacked the capacities of the tribes in the past and that is why Māori have poor outcomes and iwi are in the weaker position they are in today

Kia Kaha. We were all abused, the British Colonial Apology was a Scam that let their Crown & Christian Tamariki abusers die peacefully. They fund the abusers and are abusing again. NACT strip our Maori Rights away. Colonials target brown babies around the world. They have for hundreds of years. End Colonialism. Free Kanaky. Free West Papua. Free Aotearoa!

So you do realize there are 2 versions the Maori version Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the English version The Treaty of Waitangi this is important because the English version was mis translated and differs enormously. As Tangata Whenua I support TE TIRITI TOITU TE TIRITI O WAITANGI

It is great to see kiwis coming together in support of each other. That’s free speech and democracy for you. My problem with this pressure group is that their message is as clear as mud. Why support such a group simply because they are Māori? Now that is ignorance
