I just broke down the hands or shoes/feet into multiple shapes. I had to keep reminding myself to look at the subject as only shapes 😊

I LOVE signs! Great job. I really liked the white touches on the letters at the end. I want to try a sign at night with neon. I didn't see the white pen you used in your list of supplies. Can you tell me what it is? It looks like it has good coverage in the first pass.

Thanks! This is just the level of difficulty I needed. Just learning perspective. I'm really happy with how mine turned out. :)

That's great! :) I still tend to shy away from perspective references, but my upcoming sketch will be a simple 1 point perspective building, so stay tuned.

Why is this channel so underrated 😭 thank youuu for your videos. I am VERY new to drawings/sketching and this is very helpful 💕 may i know if you also use markers?
@liquidhues4 ай бұрын
Awww thank you! ☺ I don't use markers (I would love to learn someday) but check out @housesketcher his urban sketches are amazing and he uses markers.

I think your sketch was very successful. I think your decision to leave out the light post on the left made a better composition. I like how the signs and lights are the focal point.

I love what your channel does ❤❤❤ I very much appreciate it. I would have concentrated to much on that building and gotten hung up on the detail of that. I’m going to try and very roughly sketch in the building but it’s going to be extremely difficult. I have such beautiful buildings in Philadelphia, I’m always trying to capture the detail which is impossible and I wind up putting way to much time in. Thanks 😊✌️

You're welcome! Same with me as well. Definitely try making your rough sketch you final drawing. :)

I always thought cars were difficult. But they're only difficult if you're trying to replicate a particular model. Keep it loose and they blend right in.

it's crazy to see how something so rudimentary as a few lines that look like a children's drawing... suddenly (and it's difficult to pinpoint when exactly), become amazing art. Mesmerizing
