Look's very much like Axial SCX10 III. has all that and of coarse dig, beautiful detailed body and interior W/ fenders I paid $349 but have seen it on sale for $299! Ralphie!

If I increase my brake strength by 20%, will I need to reduce my drag brake strength by 20% to keep the drag brake strength the same as it was before I increased brake strength? Or will this have no affect on my drag brake?

Tools ... mip hand tools.. some trash electrical tools.. you have to invest in solid tools.. so no skimping allowed. 20 to 40 bucks gets you life long tools. Especially when dealing with high amperage applications

Is there a way to take the settings from one ESC I have and clone them to another ESC?

On a PC, yes there is! Simply connect to the ESC your setup is in, and hit Export Setup. That will let you save off the ESC profile, then you can connect the other ESC, hit Load Setup and import that file. Great video. Building mine now. On the front assembly, the gearing doesn't turn as smooth as the rear; there's a bit more resistance. I backed out the screws a tad and the same issue. Any ideas? My next step it to take it apart but i'm not looking forward to that!

Diff gears or the pinion/ring? Likely just a mesh issue, if it's on the tight side but not locking up at all I'd run it once or twice and see if it's loosened up.

Great video, I am currently preparing a new "long trail" build and it will have a 412 or 412HD. What rig is the one in the first shot? With the Tekin logos on the sides and the spare wheel. It looks awesome!

The problem is, when you look at the parts it looks like toy, but Tamiya makes a good job to give you the feeling of "realistic" what you see with a nice body but also with the nice driving handling. For me I don"t need much speed (That is why I like heavy and big Crawler also), that is stressful not relax with my hobby. The second part is, Tamiya gives me more the freeling to handcraft something on the car. The price is ok so you can also experiment with the parts to cut off something or what ever. And there are Tamiya Cups with rules that everyone can drive races ... I like that.

Are you guys going to update the app for the hotwire 3.0. It won't support the new version of Android. I purchased it and can't use it

It's being worked on right now. Update to 13 went smooth and is in Beta, now working on 14. It currently runs on 14, but some phones won't allow it to be downloaded.

We have our own line of batteries now, I am running our Titanium 5600 Shorty pack now. We also have a Graphene HV 6300 Shorty, both of those would be great choices.

I bought the file set and printed it, but there are authorized sellers that do kits for about $300 and then add your electronics.

540 size, the HD are just barely too long and are honestly more power than needed and also heavier.

Is not either the oil or the suapension stiff, is the shock mount, tt01 and tt02 have a far shorter distance between shock tower and arms and far less adjustment compared to the xv01 this reduce signifcally the shocks run and make the car very reactive and stiff to unheven surface compared to the soft and stable action u have in a rally car. Huge upgrade wluld be a carbo or meta shock towmer front nad rear to allow more adjustability. For the rest tt02 is a very good rally platform , u can also either put som potty or sikicon glue under the steering linkage to avoid stone and dirt to get trapped in the bathtub or use the xv01t method and put some holes there.

Suspension being stiff is a lot of it. Longer travel only works if the axles and the rest of the suspension arms can handle it and the TT-02 is fairly limited in physical travel, thus the mods I did.
