Did you have 2 bags? 1 cabin luggage and 1 backpack? both of them below 10 kg? I will flying scoot soon...
@leckexplores2 ай бұрын
Hi there! For this particular flight, I had 1 check-in luggage and 1 backpack. But yes, the general rule is if you bring 1 cabin luggage and 1 backpack, the total should be 10kg.

Is there any baggage limit for alsa buses?
@leckexplores2 ай бұрын
Hello! According to their website, each bag is supposed to be limited to 20kg each. Pls double check there! On my route, most folks looked like backpackers and our own bags were pretty light. Did not see anyone being checked for bag weight.

Hello! From what I recall, we had one luggage each (~23kg maximum) and we did not have to pay for luggage cost. The price for the seat was inclusive of one luggage. I think you might have to pay more if you have oversized / overweight bags!

Good question, there was no a/c switch that we could adjust. I believe it was a central system. The temperature was cool enough for me to sleep with the provided blanket. Probably was around 21/22’C?

Hello Leck :-) thank you for the exciting roly-poly part two :-) it is not easy to show the pendolino effect but you did a great job :-) do you think the side gap is for the seats to rotate 180 degrees? Or do the seats not rotate on Yakumo?
@leckexplores5 ай бұрын
Oh that’s a good point. I think almost all Japanese trains are built to swivel. I did spot the stepping lever along the aisle seats. Perhaps the gap is for that purpose!

Hello Leck, thank you for taking us along for the adventure. I do not know how things have turned out for you, but - as you say - it is a good reminder that we can’t be in control of things and that the journey is sometimes more the point than the destination. I really do enjoy your style of narration because it is real time but always upbeat. Even when things don’t go according to plan, you always find something to be thankful for. Thank you for investing time to share the adventures, Leck. Sincerely, Ken

Flew on scoot TR426 and 427 over this good friday long weekend, on the A321 Neo tho, which was lovely because of the cleaner cabin and mood lighting. Although scoot offers 10kg carry on, it often leads to excessive baggage in the overhead bins, resulting in people having to squeeze it under the seat in front or checking it in. Flight back was captained by a female pilot too. Overall i think scoots pretty reliable I, too, was very surprised at how many sky rise buildings there are in penang. So many condo-like and bto-like estates around. Nice mixture of mountains, beaches and history on the island. Would’ve liked to spend an extra day there

I had a very bad experience with the ALSA BUS three weeks ago, when I was supposed to travel with them between Montpellier (France) to Barcelona (Spain). Not only the bus did not arrived at all in Montpellier, and I had to find in a hurry another transpotation means to avoid loosing my flight from Barcelona, but when I sent them a complaint asking for reimbursement of my expenses, they lied in my face pretending that the bus was there and I was late to it. Avoid ALSA BUSES to avoid the awful experience of losing your money and your time, while being called a liar.

I see. I only tried ALSA within Spain, did not try crossing countries with them. Good to know.

Hello! I didn’t notice if there were toilets on the bus or not. I feel like there isn’t though. The trip was 2.5h and it did not stop for any bathroom breaks. Would be safer if you get your bathroom break before and after alighting!

There is hotel Sheraton Tung Chung and four points by Sheraton Tung Chung ? Is there any difference between these 2?
@leckexplores Жыл бұрын
These two hotels are adjoined to each other. I think the main difference between these two, (Sheraton is 5 star, FP is 4 star) is mainly because Sheraton has a pool. As the ground floor is the same, I did note that both hotels share the same shuttle bus.
@adlisyahir Жыл бұрын
hey! i am going to HKG this Nov and will be staying at four points sheraton. How long is the walk to the coach bay from the airport arrivals?
@leckexplores Жыл бұрын
Hey there! I think I took around 10mins (slow walk) to get to the coach bay. It’s actually relatively straight forward but I got confused with the public bus bay. Also, the coach bay does not label and designate specific lots for which hotel brand, so you’ll have to look at the front of the coach to see which hotel it is going to!

I think u underestimated Batik Air a lot. The way u said they’re so generous to give free 15kg baggages as a LCC, u said u are not confident with LCC landing and that u have to hold ur breath or something, but at the end they landed safely and they gave 15kg of baggage for free is because they are actually not really a LCC. They are a full serviced airline idk what u thought they were 😂 Idk if u were but I think u were being sarcastic about the flight entertainment in this vid and its kinda cringe. You dont even go for a long haul flight so dont even judge LCC airlines lol and be sarcastic about it.
@leckexplores Жыл бұрын
Dear sir/mdm, thank you for watching my video. To be frank, I have the tendency to underestimate many things in life. That way it’s easier to find joy. 😊 When I first read of Batik Air (approx. >1 year ago), many travel websites referred to Batik Air as a budget airline (alongside its big brother Lion Air). Understand that the group later upgraded Batik Air to full service, in a bid to somewhat compete with Malaysia Airlines. I wasn’t given any free small meal and I paid for a Pepsi, so I would stand by my classification of Batik Air being a LCC. I am being honest with my views and it is not within my abilities to please every viewer. I, however, did hope that this platform is used for an enjoyable and greater purpose. If my videos do not sit well with you, I’d strongly advise you to do yourself a favour and abstain from watching any more of my videos. Have a good day!
