Always liked the single unit rotary style camshaft master controller on the m1/m3 , wish they'd bring them back. NYCTA rolling stock now has the T-handle twist and pivot units. Imho, not visually cool. The pre-goh twist and SLIDE stainless steel, anvil shaped master controllers on the NYCTA r44 and r46 looked really nice.. Straight out of "Logans Run " or "THX-1138." Just my $.02 .. Whaddaya think?

I really enjoyed the first 10 minutes. Penn Station is my second home Those tunnels are my office I have actually walked from Long Island City to Penn Station on that benchwall. And the first stop Woodside with the 7 subway train above is my stop I live around the block from there. Very cool to see it from this view. I've taken the train to Babylon, Ronkonkoma, and the Greenport branch to Riverhead. Love the LIRR.

How often are trains rolling through Lebanon? I'm thinking of doing a photo shoot within a certain time constraint... if I went early morning (any morning of the week) would I catch one?

@@andrewzook8648 mornings tend to be the busiest on the line with a frequent midday lull occurrence and then service normally picks back up towards the evening although I wouldn’t be the right person to ask but based off of my past experiences on the line i would think the traffic pattern is relatively similar now to how it was a few years ago

Excellent. Shortly before you shot this video, I left New York after living directly across Nassau Interlocking / the new G16 Substation installation from early 2020 until January 2023. I witnessed firsthand (and close-up) the entire "Third Track" expansion there, "from the ground up". Wonderful "taking a trip" back there to see these great scenes...especially the snow footage to close the show. Seeing the alcohol / "leaf" train was quite a treat...the last "unique" LIRR equipment I photographed before leaving Long Island. Thank you... 👍👍👏

A very interesting situation. It also showed a rare example of a true "push-pull" train, where 416 was pushing cab car 5020, and pulling the rest of the train.
