I have had my locs for 8yrs and counting. I tried palm rolling but my hair doesn't keep locked for more than a few days with it and the build up is another story. I currently use crotchet with interlocking method and its been working well for me.

It's so rare to see a video of starter love on 2 inches of hair. Your work is impeccable. I'm looking forward to the update on this client's lock journey. Thank you for the content.

I believe locs are becoming more accepted and popular now, especially the manicured ones. I see ladies with locs almost every other day. But then again, it's the manicured ones. I think that everything just boils down to how our mind has been conditioned.

I dont understand when people say locs was not popular.... I grew up seeing a lot of Rastafarians in Jamaica.... I dont consider myself a Rastafarian .... The trend of cultivated locs wearing was not popular and information to start maintain and getting it to look a certain way was not readily available

Hmm... Very interesting and educative conversation beyond locs. Aaliyah's voice intro kept me to listen till the end. I just always wanted to listen to her speak. Such a brilliant and matured six years old kid.

What an insightful interview, particularly Tola’s conversation with God questioning why hair in its natural form would not be acceptable. I can testify that you have the loveliest locs ever and that you have never been a conformist or band wagon type of girl.
