How did you get 30-40fps in 4K, but get 100-120fps in 1440P? That doesnt make sense.

Did you set your game to Nvidia GPU only? I just stuck at maybe 30 fps at this setting, same device as yours(x17 with i9 11980hk, 3080).

I thought the framerate is capped at 60 FPS. How did you exceed the limit?

Why does it perform so good on yours I have the 3080ti version and mine has extreme performance problems with this game. Like it dips down to like 10fps just trying to swing around and that's on 1080p high settings. I have updated drivers and Im running it plugged in, so idk what is wrong with this game I have just boycotted the game after that.

I have the same laptop but 3070 140 w. A few questions. 1.while playing having games like god of war do you Fn+f1 performance mode? 2. Do you use high performance power mode or balanced? 3. before playing do you go to nvidia control panel and set display mode to gpu only or just play as it is?

How do I get that overlay?

Yup about the same i get on my i9 but it gets really hot I play this game on my 4k 77in tv and put my laptop on a good cooling pad and it runs much smoother. X17 cooling is hype in my view or some just get lucky with the application of the thermal compound.

I decked out my x17 rtx3080 and hit those exact same settings and barely getting 30fps. Could it be bc I have 4K screen on my x17?

Do this test on your laptop but on 1080p resolution and please display the fps counter

I got the x15 r1 with same cpu, same memory (32gb) and same video card (RTX 3080) No 4K option, have the QHD 1440p 240hz display. The video card wattage shamefully is lower and thermals aren’t as great compared to the x17. I played and beat the game on my Xbox Series X Halo Edition 😁 I just recently acquired the laptop. It’s fantastic, don’t care what haters say lol. I wanted to try the game on this laptop for benchmark. What’s your fps average without vsync? You can turn that off in game settings so it won’t be capped at 60fps, and also set the max frame rates for higher. Not sure if the pc version of the game has unlimited fps. The video card should give you more than 60fps on that game if you unchecked vsync and play with gsync on.

You werent lying pc runs great got alittle stand for it that blows air onto the back to keep ot 4-5 degrees cooler and it runs great
