I wouldn’t mind owning one as a daily grab-and-go watch, but it was significantly overpriced at launch. Considering it’s a SW200-based three-hander with a brushed case and a printed dial, even factoring in the brand, it realistically belongs in the $2,000 to $2,500 price range.

Few years later with this comment but I just got mine in black for $1k off ebay. The prior owner had the center links brushed - a bonus for me. I like this design better than the newer GMT model but I'm hoping I can buy the newer bracelet and use it on this watch.⌚👍

Seiko movement? In a Citizen? I highly doubt that, Citizen are quartz masters, it's like a BMW mounted a Mercedes engine

There seems to be an even more rare variant to this one, perhaps an overseas only variant? CB0240-88L. Same blue dial but with all white hands without the faux lume. I may have overpaid for one at like 400usd but my goodness I like it better than a breitling…what a killer!!

I'm trying to do a lot of research before any purchases and I was trying to decide between the Timex Expedition or one of the Hamilton Khaki Field watches. The Timex has good specs and a lower price, so I was leaning toward the Expedition, but I had a lot of questions about it. Where is it made, exactly what caliber is used, etc. I think I'm going to go for the Hamilton as my daily watch. Thanks!

Instead of the bead blast finish that Timex went with here, they should opt for a stone washed finish. It accomplishes the same thing-dulling down reflection. But stone washing absorbs and conceals scratches SO MUCH better.

Poor workmanship, edges are sharp, like wearing a knife. Not a refine watch. No value. I rather buy a citizen or seiko

It's a average quality watch, edges are sharp. Too heavy and thick for a quartz watch. Water sipped in after swimming. No value in my country. Not even $5

Amazing channel! I am so happy that I have found you. I am impressed by this watch, how can a 80h power reserve, Hamilton, such a nice dial be 400-500€ just? How and why is this so unspoken and hidden in all these "best watches under 500$" videos? As far as I have seen, the automatic versions come only in red/blue or blu/green dials. I am based in Italy and I am currently trying to get a better deal for the blu/green dial on Ashford! So, to summarize: 1. How can Ashford have such deals? Won't they profit by a -25% instead of -50%? 2. Why this watch is so undervalued and hidden? 3. Are there more dials for automatic versions?

Of course the strap feels a little cheap, its an inexpensive watch. Itll work just fine just dont put headers on youre car w/ it on.

Have my Citizen Blue Angel on today,complex piece..i love complex!

I own this watch for 8months now, been swimming with it and used it regularry. Out of the box it was running around -15s/d which was okay , but after 7months it slowed down to -28s/d which is unacceptable for me, so I decided to regulate it. It was surprisingly ez, and smooth, in 2 adjustment I managed to set a 0s/d to -1s/d with 0,1 beat error, which is AMAZING, and its keeping this rate already for a month. impressive. and the links on mine are smooth, so maybe they improved it already. Honestly, the only thing which could be improved is the lume. Its not non existent, and can glow strong, but wont last. So at the night time, if I wake up and check the time, chances to wont be able to read the dial is really high. For eg. on my citizen ecodrive titanium its not a problem, but hey its cost 5times more than this pagani.

Mine came today. Very impressed. Really going to enjoy it.

Buddy, get a grip! To spend that much time on the strap clasp was nit-piking. This isn’t a $500,00 watch!

I agree with you on the Homage watch perspective… I was able to pick up 8 Homage - Pagani Design watches on Amazon October Sale (20%) off for $750 or $775 with taxes This included a homage of the Paul Newman Rolex watch. If I had bought the real watches it would have cost $380,600 assuming I could find a Paul Newman watch for $196k at auction.
