This AI in this game has been proven to cheat. The specials that require a 2 second power up (sonic boom for example) will sometimes be instant for the AI. The AI also gets the benefit of invincibility frames, which is why it often seems like the move you executed first didn’t register, but the computers later attack was successful.

That’s it, you only got lost in the last part with the beam, but this is good enough. You can increase the number of hits if you dash downwards and press H after the S launch to the ground… Usually people do MM 6H S M+H and H to cancel the dash, so you get to the ground faster

I definitely notice that on the first launch, you can delay the first jumping M a lot longer than on the second launch. On the second launch, if you delay the jumping M, it drops. Yeah "hitstun deterioration," right?

@@ForestTekkenVideos That’s correct as well! The delay in between M and 6H decrease the hitstun, Forget to mention but in UMVC 3 the faster you hit less deterioration you get in a certain level

We can see this happening a lot when people are doing the fautine loops (FoF loops) for dr strange, the fastest they connect the hits more repetitions they get

@@ForestTekkenVideos Oh, so combo notations with numbers are based on the numpad of the keyboard, in the far right corner we have the number 9 and in the beginning of it is the number 1, 6 means Foward. What I said was, the dash, M and f +H in the air is decreasing the hit stun making it drop

I'll try omitting that but I think I remember the crouching S still missing like it did in this video, mine above. at 35 seconds of this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5XLZWafj5VsqdE ^ ...is the combo I'm trying to emulate. Spent a good fun time in UMVC3's practice mode trying it but yeah still not getting it. Maybe you can see what they did there and what I'm not. Thanks!
