Great recommendations! Can't wait to get into them! My Old Ass is a great story I had zero faith in, but walked away charmed as can be.

Big fan of the original silent movie, haven’t seen Bram Stoker’s Dracula but clearly remember reading the book in high school, enjoyed the remake and thought Eggers did all the right things to “bring sound” the simplicity of the original + incorporate some of the differing plot points of the Dracula story. Didn’t think it was scary, most of the time I was thinking “okay what’s this version of the old movie going to look like?” but loved it regardless.

I love the Bram Stoker's Dracula movie with its practical effects and Interview with a Vampire with its realistic storytelling. But by far the best Vampire story is my 2010 college video of "Genesis of the Vampire!" kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqTUknmvmdRlfrM

I saw it last night and honestly thought it was trying to be Bram Stokers Dracula.

Kneecap is one of the best films of this year. It’s getting recognized and winning a lot of awards in the UK and Ireland. The language is Gaeilge Pronunciation Gwal-gah, when you’re speaking English, it’s just Irish. There are 80 to 100 thousand native speakers meaning people who speak this in their homes, 1 1/2 million are fluent, but don’t use it as their first language. The rest of the population has varying degrees of fluency since it’s taught in schools. the Gaeltacht areas in Ireland is with language is the first language, Strangely enough immigrants who have come to Ireland, who already know two languages have become the greatest learners of the language pretty amazing. You’ve given me lots of movies I need to take a look at.

In regards to Your Monster - Shaun of the Dead and Lisa Frankenstein could be considered romcom horror I imagine? But also yeah, let's definitely support Melissa Barrera she rules. Also you convinced me to watch Uprising, had no idea Park chan-wook was involved.

What did you think of Aaron Taylor Johnson and Emma Corrin? I've heard they are the Arthur and Lucy counterparts in this story. But I've heard there roles are pretty small. Lovely review!! I'll keep tuning in for more 🎉
@williamerickson5207 күн бұрын
Really? These characters aren't in the original. The Lucy storyline was completely omitted. But it looks like Eggers has added forty minutes of run time so I guess that's to be expected. Of course the original omitted Van Helsing as well.
@austincc17827 күн бұрын
@williamerickson520 I meant the original story of Dracula, not the 1922 Nosferatu.
