UK Garage needs a comeback, I’m nearly certain one big garage rave will sort this place out and get us back to our 90’s prime !

My cousin Steven slater is a good DJ , played all over the world and plays quite similar music to yourself tbf , he got me into music / DJ’n when I was just a kid (12-13yr old) I’m 39 now and have recently purchased a new set of decks … trying to learn it all over again isn’t easy 😂 I had the Gemini 626’s in past and now I’m streaming music through the mixer (like your setup in this video) and it’s wayyyyyyyy different lol

Immense tunes. But loving the understated way, it's done, and the technical skill on show Reminds me of the early to mid-nineties when people would just rock up with shoulder bags full of vinyl, and the big red, plastic storage, boxes, full of tunes getting carried from car boots. Pure friendships. No egos. Simple, beautiful times. And the timing and smoothness of the mix, and the drop at 14 miniutes. .. Years of happiness encapsulated in a few seconds. We bottled those feelings, and memories, and you're bringing them flooding back. Total respect, mate. Superb stuff ✌️

I use to be a dj in the Mid 90s, I was very good with TurnTables and Mixer. It was Technics DD3 and Belt Drive Then, lol. My mixer was a Gemini (8 Chanels). We used Records /plates back then. The Stylos was Diamond (considered the best). My Scratch technics was something else, i had a lot of girl friends, because of how good i was, lol. Its been over 25 years and i ve been feeling like having a studio in my house, just for fun, not really commercial. Thanks for this video, i use to think it will be difficult to know how to use this mordern machines.

I know this is an old video, but this was exceptional, as a professional music producer/composer and been in the industry for over 30 years, (I used to producer house and techno years ago) I recently grabbed a mint condition DDJ400 + a new laptop to get into a bit of DJ'ing just for fun more than anything. I understand the premise of beat matching, intros/outros etc, but this was a real eye opener for really smooth transitions. I'm 50 so its true you can teach old dogs new tricks! Great video, dropped you a sub!
