I absolutely would not have been able to understand this live. I was wondering why I'm subscribed to this, and then I saw you did The Accident and the magic garage. Wonderful!

Aah. The mulas. These babies make sure ships going through the panama canal dont strike the sides of the canal. Contrary to popular belief, they do not pull the ships, the ships travel under their own power. The trains are simply there to keep tension on either side ensuring the ship goes straight. Even still, controlling that much weight so precisely is quite impressive and they perform a job of international importance.

its weird to find this video from a random search while learning to model train detail, and then learn you are my actual hero in coaster design, my other and longstanding niche passion

It’s incredible how John is successful in pretty much everything he does. He retires and makes some models to keep him busy and ends up a KZbin channel with over a million total views of his videos

I love it when people use the Magnorail system to add some magic to their layout. The creativity that Magnorail inspires is amazing. It exceeds the expectations of the Dutch inventors some 14 years ago when its sole aim was to have cyclists pedalling away. Well done everyone! Clyde MagnorailOz

John very kindly sent me the STL files for this trick. It's concept is simple, but you must agree, looks amazing. This will keep my grandkids bemused for a while. I did need to expand the overall dimensions, to suit the dice i have. Thank you John, for being a sport and sharing the files.
