Nah, we barely remember they’re around. Lafayette has become a good rival but mostly from basketball. Really disliking Coastal and Jimmy Madison, too.

UGA is too good to play Georgia State, but not too good to play Charleston Southern, UMass, Austin Peay, Middle Tennessee State, Samford, Kent State, Murray State, Arkansas State, UT Martin, Ball State, or Tennessee Tech since 2018. Uh huh. Gotcha. Get off the high horse. These teams have maybe one or two league titles COMBINED since 2018. At least GSU has won several bowl games in that same span, so maybe UGA needs to schedule them more often. More competition than some of these other teams they schedule.

Would be a weird feeling as long before I went to college (Graduated in 01, KSU didn't even have football then 🤣) as even though I am a KSU Alum, I was a Dawg fan from day 1 and have been to over 100 UGA games. It took UGA years to play Georgia Southern. And GSU had Erk! Sad to say, but UGA is big brother and will play us when IT decides to. Oh and FYI, Brian Bohannon is a UGA grad. Hey, just curious...who did you pull for as a kid? Like I said in my previous comment, no one growing up in Georgia pulls for the smaller schools. UGA hasn't played an in-state football team other than Tech since Trash Down South took them to the line. It's not that their not too good to play thelist of FCS and lowly G5 programs you listed, they have no interest in playing an in state team and giving any legitimacy to the program. As Wreck Talk said in the interview about this game there's no real upside to Tech. They win, they're supposed to. They lose, and it looks bad for them and good for State. Same applies to UGA. It's well know. Doesn't mean we aren't going to take our jabs when we can. It's all for fun after all.
