Sending good vibes mate, I am training for my first marathon myself and the doubt of running 42.2kms is huge in my mind. Goal A is sub 4, goal B is sub 4.30, Goal C is just to finish the race.

Enjoyed your vid mate. Just a little note. You don't need carbon plated shoes like the QiaoDan or the Alphaflys at your pace. They're not worth the price :) Focus on running Zone 2 runs each week, and slowly but surely you'll get a faster 10k time in the future to start benefit from those carbon plated shoes

Thanks for watching! Agree with you, most of my runs are even slower paces with a pair of Gel Nimbus and many years ago used to do all my runs with an older pair of Nike Pegasus so seeing all these super shoes coming back into running has been crazy. Unfortunately, I can't pass up a good deal and I got them heavily discounted so it's not all too bad 😅 Probably won't be buying much more until I'm faster! 💪🏃♂
