I had a very enjoyable stay there many decades ago. It appears to not have changed a bit, which is delightful to see. A group of us from the world over met there to celebrate the finish of The Merlin Mystery, a treasure hunt book by Jonathan Gunson. About 25 of us from all over the world got treated like royalty by the owners. I am an artist myself and enjoyed the setting very much but the work of the resident artist was not to my liking and I thought the art slightly spoiled the ambiance that people come to Tintagel especially to seek. Thanks for a trip down memory lane!
