I found myself going back and forth with my opinion on this method while listening. This conversation ultimately helped me think more clearly about my overall coaching approach. A testament to a well constructed interview with great questions. Well done and thank you both.

100% agreed on the rulesets guiding away from slicers. I love using them through the beartrap and other positions as a form of control without access to gi grips.

is a darce choke considered a blood choke?
@bjjmentalmodels2 ай бұрын
Primarily yes, but the Darce uses several different choking mechanics. We'll be talking about hybrid chokes in an upcoming mini-episode.

Problem with most instructionals are they are priced according to duration, or that is how it seems. Would rather learn 3 things that I know will work in different situations

Wish I could give this episode more than one thumbs up. You unpacked lot of good stuff from learning dynamics to role of the instructor. If you get a chance read a bit of Paulo Freire’s theory about banking model of education vs problem based learning. I think it relates well to Eco and IP models.
