forum.realitymod.com/viewtopic.php?p=2258887&sid=4dd6c6a58cb7578fd1754203b5ad6e34#p2258887 doesnt look like a ton? seems like the standard bug fixes. i did notice a littler better performance using the advanced shaders, but it might have just been placebo(hehe). i did notice a tip that i hadnt saw before is to clear your shader cache in the PR launcher in utilities. gonna try that and maybe it can gain me a few frames. if you play on the coop servers only SEA clans server had the update about an hour ago when i stopped playing to upload these clips.

Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words! So I have a razer kraken v3, pretty decent quality so I'm going to mess with my levels for my next upload because the mic itself is pretty ok. Also I noticed I ran out of hard drive space so that's why the last video was extra toastery/potatoes, should have it fixed by the morning. I created hard drive space by symbolically deleting gta5, can't believe I bought that game like 4 times on all kinds of platforms. Yes pretty much, 970m with i7 6700(6th gen), recommended spec I believe is a 1030 or 1080 I can't remember. Technically my setup is a potato with the capability to calculate basic instruction sets in between potato baking. Thanks for the comment though, it helps the algorithm!

So I did notice worse than usual performance myself, I alt-tabbed and my GPU was at zero use %,. So I went into the Nvidia control panel and the software specific settings and set PR to use my 970 and I did notice improvement, about to go online now and see if that was it.

Yes they do, so since I'm a noob I'm playing on coop servers at the moment, but I think the veteransgaming server is based in NA and once I graduate to pvp in the multiplayer server list I've seen the u777 clans server is NA based. Probably more, even though the hog server is gone there still NA server options.

So since most of the community has gone over to arma or squad, I have definitely thought about it. I'd say what's terrible is my skill level and not project reality, this game is the bomb diggity. So about arma/squad/generic new shooter just trying to emulate bf2/ I'll definitely give them a shot, but I bet ill keep going back to battlefield, I always do. It might be bf3 reality (next on my list) or bf4 or something, but leaving battlefield is like dumping the redhead with the g.i. joe kung-fu grip... you always go back.

Yes you can, coop is playable offline with bots, this game was online vs bots with real people on our team. You go to coop then 'create local' to play offline with bots, if you wanr to play with real people pick 'join internet'. After this game I played for a few offline and the maps are amazing, I tried summer Stalingrad and the Falklands map and kudos to the devs the attention to detail is tight! Squad up brotato!

So personally I cannot say I've done it, but from reading up on the forums I think it is possible to lan play with bots you just have to join the same server via ip. The official forums are great, if it doesn't work right away check em out. Good luck! So I just played for a bit, veteransgaming coop server and I somehow managed to get my first kill ever, and I spent the rest of the time running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, I didn't record but the squad was super friendly and helpful, but they cannot work miracles with a noob like me. I healed a teammate like 1/3 of the way and the best thing I did was provide a good lol for my squadmates. I had the audio going out of my speakers so it was hard to hear I'm gonna change it to have it output to the speakers, but then I don't think it'll be audible for everyone in the video I upload so we will see!

I believe there is lan offline, when the launcher comes up just click 'play offline ' and then try it that way.

First of all I want to apologize for my ignorance, I'm amazed I didn't get booted from the server for being such a noob. I even read (more like skimmed) the extensive manual. Project Reality is so immersive it's amazing what the devs have done with the refractor engine. same, i installed yesterday so dont even worry about it-i totally understand. i had tried project reality a long as time ago (years and years) and honestly that did not help me one bit. i thought i had read the manual enough to get my bearings, but its not enough. i tried watching some videos meant for beginners and that helped a little also. so about the talking part, 'B' is default to talk to your squad and 'V' is default to talk proximity so the other players on the team hear you that are near. mumble is the built in program so when the PR launcher is up you can go to settings then over to mumble on the right and if you click 'setup' it opens mumble up in its own window and in there you can configure the settings for your headset/mic. i dont know how the friend system works on project reality but i was just in the veterans gaming server just now and i recorded a new video, i even teamkill someone like a true noob lol. my PR name is the same as my youtube name so if you see me say youre the guy from yt and ill remember you!

Yes, i agree. I almost went and bought the disc for bfbc2 and bf3+4 for PS3, but with the servers getting shut down last month so much for that. Halo sunrise shows that it can be done, it's really game by game for the most part if the community is willing to resurrect the online aspect and pay up every month for the server fees. One that comes to mind that i haven't had the chance to get going is the gran Turismo 4 online beta, but that thing is going along with gran Turismo 6. They both require a bunch of updates and it's kinda complicated, but they work! Thanks for the comment! Have a good one!

It's back, legit %100! Venus unleashed mainly focuses on bf3, but an offshoot(could be wrong about this tbh) is project rome and it works great! I am an OG PS3 player, I remember trading in mw2 cause the online was garbage and back company 2 caught my eye, the online play was fantastic and I made a ton of great friends, I remember some Australian guy named 'beboben', he was so nice and taught me the ropes in game. Class act. One thing never did back on ps3 was download the Vietnam dlc, but now that I get to try the Vietnam maps, they are so good. Try I out, it would be awesome to squad up (no one uses a mic, in playing for a week and a half I've heard one person on the mic. So much nostalgia. As soon as I can get a few extra dollarydoos I'm going to buy bf3 and bf4, maybe even bf2 but I'm wondering if thatll be a bit too old to enjoy. Thanks for the comment and the sub brother! Haven't yet, but it's on my list! I am between mobile phone services at the moment so I just have the wifi at home so it's a bit challenging to check new stuff out. You wouldn't happen to be one of those rich English blokes would you? I have been thinking about starting a Patreon or something similar since I doubt I'll ever make it to 500 to monetize my yt channel. Also with the dubious yt censorship and shad0wbanning I really don't want to partner with such a shady site, even though they are the top dog. I wonder if I do start a Patreon if I could get like 20-40 bucks to get some good internet and a capture card would be amazing, but I'm doubtful that I could get that meager goal with only 58 subs. Down the line a new gaming PC would be great, the new s.t.a.l.k.e.r. game is out and my CPU (i76700) and my GPU(970m) are officially old since they aren't supported anymore as the minimum requirements are above my setup. If you aren't a rich duke or earl, I get it and thanks even more for being a fan since it means more if you have to find time amongst your workday to check out my video. Yes! I concur with your turismo taste, I am currently playing Gran Turismo 4, but I just got another ps3 since my old one needs the thermal paste redone and I am enjoying Gran Turismo 5 and 6. I'm wondering if my phone has enough processing power to run Gran Turismo 1 and 2 (at least until I get a steam deck or ally so I can Turismo on the go). So this is just some of my small vinyl collection, but I have 35,000 files in my digital library so I can use Serato so my last dj video from a few months ago (capleton and method man scratching) for example was using the Serato digital vinyl/laptop method. How do you drift in this game without losing control of the car?

Depends on each car, but in general do a side to side turn to get your momentum going (called feint or scandinavian flick) to get the car sliding in the direction you want it to. Notice that I haven't mentioned the gas because that's part 2. Once you get the car sliding in the direction you want it then, and only then apply the gas and change to the right gear to keep the drift going through the turn. You can also start a turn and then try to power over and the rear end should slide out, but it depends on the car. Different cars respond better to lifting off the gas in the middle of the turn. If these don't work try starting a turn and then hitting the e-brake and turning and see what happens. Good luck!

I followed this video m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaqWYnSgeqmWoaM and it got me going, however the g29 only gets recognized as a DFP and the shifter and clutch don't work, there is a work around for the shifter to shift directly into each gear, but I don't have it installed. If you are not on pcsx2 and on real hardware, the g29 has a switch on top that enables you to flip it into PS3 mode. Flip that switch and you should be good to go!

Pretty accurate. Reminds me of gt5+gt6 drifting on PS3, the lobbies were sick, amazing drifting. you would be going at it for hours and not a word to be said, once in a while people had mics or keyboard, but rarely. While I'm on the subject of ps3 (doing some lame channel community note that no one sees anyway) I have a slim ps3 that had a green light then ded issue, I baked it at 200-240° for 3-4 minutes and it's back! Was on for 5 hours yesterday waiting for me to press "x" to see if the hard drive is ded, but I went through every controller and steering wheel in the house and nothing will control this PS3 so I need a controller to figure out if the PS3 is ready for some turismo'ing!

Especially with the new spec2 mod. When I first started playing it again even the base game was great, just like you said! The single player career is still the standard. This playthrough I'm just drifting for the most part-and that's the beauty of the career mode, you can approach it however you would like in as many ways as you can think of. I'm trying to figure out how to play the ps3 titles, gt5+gt6 and can't decide if I want the real hardware (cheaper option) or go with a new PC that can handle rpcs3 (my i7-6700 can't handle PS3). I miss the ability to add bumper/body kits and the mild damage model. Also miss the smoke increase in drifting as compared to gt4's smoke. Thanks for commenting and have a good day!

Gran turismo sport got offline so gran turismo 7 will get it too. It's impressive how people's still ignore the fact that gt sport got an offline patch to begin with because in the future it will share the same thing where we get offline in an always online game. Nonetheless i understand why always online is bad but microtransactions? Gt7 made microtransactions pointlessly right. It's just there to make lazy people pull out their bank card but it's not mandatory. This is polyphony not ea they literally made microtransactions average sized and cometely optional amd we still complain about this microtransaction. Are we this lazy not telling the difference between how minecraft bedrock edition handles microtransactions and how gt7 handles it? This community is even more insignificant than i thought! I'm done. I hate how dumb the internet becomes. I may seem impressive for not being a fool at 13 but this isn't even funny anymore. I hate what this community and gamers have become in general and it's fucking disgusting. I'm not saying microtransactions are good because companies like ea have fucked them over but this ain't half bad. I am still flabbergasted how communities like gran turismo have ignored important events on their end and peoples generally saying stuff for the sake of drama in gaming. We will never be happy cuz of our dissatisfaction it's fucking disgusting.

I'm not saying my side and how I see things for drama, I'm putting it out there in case people wonder why I'm playing gta4 instead of 7 (besides the single player career mode being top tier). Gran Turismo, except for sport which I understand that being an online based game, has always been an offline single player game, there is no need for always online bs and if you are correct and there is a final patch where I can play if offline then at that point I will buy gt7 and I'm sure I'll enjoy it. We are not at that point yet and you repeatedly saying that kazunori or polyphony are not as bad as EA in the microtransaction thing is true, but it's more telling of where modern games are and the sad state that a game that isn't as bad as EA in microtransactions will have people defending Sony/pd/kaz instead of the community coming together and telling our corporate gaming overlords that we do not want or need microtransactions in every game and we don't want or need a historically offline game to be always phoning home, and here is the best part-EVEN FOR 2 PLAYERS? Why in the biscuits is that even a thing? I want to play offline split screen local races and uneven have two steering wheels, but Sony wants to make my playstation connect to a server? No.

@@placebots Now that i think about it i don't want to wait till i can play the game offline. I still stand by the fact that microtransactions are pointless yet they are here for the lazy peoples even tho that is rare but now it's time for them to stand up and do something cuz i don't want something as pointless as microtransactions. But what of gt7 was free? Would the microtransactions be the same? Probably. But from what you said i would still recommend to scream our lungs out the we do not want microtransactions. And we would do the same for always online. And some other wierd things that this game alongside others need strange and unnecessary imperfections perished. No wonder why most of the games i play are old.

Couldn't agree more, 6th+7th generation is the pinnacle peak of gaming. I have a PS4 and I just let my little kids play on it. Been waiting for a reason to get PS5, but Sony isn't getting my sheke|s that easy with all the s|op they are pushing these days. I'm considering getting a PS3(had two both went out recently) instead of PS5 that tells you all you need to know about the state of modem games. The games I'm playing are all old also, we are the same my brother in gaming. Currently playing fallout NV, gta4, stalker shadow of Chernobyl, Madden 12, and NFL 2k5 resurrected. The silver lining in the way that games have been exploited and corrupted by non gamer npc's and faceless corporations is that more than a few gamers recognize this and have been modding and preserving these golden era games. Keep up the good fight you are not alone!

@@placebots Thanks! I have a ps4 and i have nfs 205,nfs heat and the crew 2 on it but i haven't played then cuz i kinda lost my interest on need for speed rn but i will getvon it later. I will buy more games on my ps4 like red dead redemption 2,grid legends and etc. Atleast i have many ps3 ganes cuz i have a jailbroken ps3 and i can't really jailbreak my ps4 because it's firmwares too high but i will wait till that exists. Next year i am getting a new laptop so i can play games like gran turismo 4 and other masterpieces and i will wait for a pc port of gta 6.

For PS4 I have assetto corsa, but man is the PC game way better with the endless mods I just haven't downloaded it yet on my PC and playing it on PS4 is great, I recommend it for drift physics 7/10, I actually uploaded a video of me in an e92 m3 like 8 o 9 months ago, but the lack of mods and even paid dlc for the 'japanese car pack'? I'm not paying 10$ or 15$ for some cars that should have been in the base game(another crap feature of new game, unfinished releases or just purposely withholding content that should have been included in the initial release for paid DLC. The only positive about kunos is that they are a smaller studio so it can be justified that way, but most of it is done by huge companies. I'm gonna have to try the PS4 games you listed, but the next purchase for me is going to be wreckfest, it has full support for my shifter and clutch on my g29 wheel, but I might just end up getting it for pc. My other option is to upgrade my gaming PC so I can emulate PS3 and try iracing, but we shall see. I'm leaning towards getting a jailbroken PS3 so I can get the full experience of playing my own game backups and not relying on official updates, like the Gran Turismo 6 community mod, man I wonder if there is a community mod for bf3 on PS3 it was awesome!

Yup! Gt5 and 6 the drift lobbies would have good drift builds for the 300zx and they usually used the last year that was available for some reason, like you mentioned year 2000. There's just something about the way the car handles that other cars lack, maybe it's balance but as a bonus I love the styling of this generation 300zx, I've been looking for a real life example but they are all either beat to s, or too expensive. The physics are definitely not for the feint (giggity) of heart, it takes time to learn and even more time and repeatedly repeating and practicing. Honestly I just found the r32 in the used car lot and liked it the best out of the initial UCD rwd offerings. I have an 89' z32 that's currently my best handling drift car(check out my video from December of last year it's the purple one) I'm also drifting the gs400 vertex prize car you get early in the game, a Volvo 240 estate, Buick gnx/g body. Looking at what's available I keep upgrading my Nissan 300zx instead of buying more drift cars. Supra rz, fd and fc rx7s are out there, but not convincing me to go for it and not upgrade my 300zx. Now that is a nuance, I remember when gy5 and gt6 were current and the drift rooms had everyone sliding around and there were certain cars that were too common and easy to drift so I agree it's not as fun to drift the same cars over and over. I loved the Bathurst edition fd and also the one with the yellow fog lights. I'll have to try the early fd once I earn more credits, I ended up going with the 17,000 fully custom suspension for the z32. The difference was instant, I was getting snap back when the front would grip and send me off into the tofoverse, but the added camber in the front made it maintain the drift much more predicably, especially deep into the drift. On autumn ring I like to take the high side or wide outside line to practice tandems and now I can actually control the drift without it snapping back at times when the front wheels grip unexpectedly.
