I'm 34 and always loved horses, but only recently started riding and I absolutely love it. I ride once every week, wish I could do more, but it's very expensive. I'll have my own horse one day and ride a lot more. Not planning to do competitions, I just love the connection and being with horses as a team, I love grooming them too. I wasn't very popular in school, but wasn't unpopular either. I had my few selected friends and that was perfect for me. You just need to find the people with common interest and not care about what's popular, just find something you love doing and the friends will come with it :)

The height thing is so true!! I was one of those tall girls until suddenly everyone else shot up taller than me and I was the short one!!

In a way I'd like to be a teenager again; because, when I was a teenager, I knew everything. - Now I'm an adult I realise how little I know. I so wish I'd have heard your teenager-lecture when I was 13... Though there wasn't even any internet, or mobile phones, when I was 13. The "cool" girls who gossiped in the toilets Etc mostly ended up living in uncool places as a single mother with a screaming kid. Life's a funny ol' game, and you couldn't make it up if you tried; but listen to what Esme says here and it'll be a good start.

Something that is helpful for me during a panic attack is doing the tree yoga pose. Because, you need so much concentration to do it when your not having a panic attack. During a panic attack it's helpful to get us grounded, again. But, I know you can't really do that in public. Sadly, that the only thing I found that works for me. Do you have any tips?

I don't have health anxiety but I do have generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks every often. It's not diagnosed yet but it's the type of anxiety that represents me the most. I am anxious about everything and anything, stupid things like doing daily chores. I do have quite a heart condition that creates me a lot of anxiety especially since my last surgery I got, on November 27, 2023. Never ask me to relax or breath, I can't. When worry is gone 20 others comes. So, it never ends but there moment throughout the day or even the year that I am less anxious. But, I am always a little anxious about something.
