So you need to be perfect or youre bearing bad fruit. Thats what youre saying. Faith is all it takes. Not baptism. Not works. Otherwise the thief on the cross was lied to. Once you are saved nothing can pluck you from Gods hands. Not satan. And definitely not yourself.

Not perfect, but through faith, you will truly repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus and your behavior will change. Faith produces obedience and the fruit of the Spirit when you choose to walk in it Galatians 5:22-24. Sins of the flesh are obvious… Galatians 5:19-21.

I stopped cussing about 2 months ago. I do slip but it’s once in a blue moon. I really just started thinking before I spoke. I stayed praying to God and over time my tongue changed. It’s all about the mind frame and that my friend is self control.

I heard someone say once that the 3rd time Peter denied Christ he cursed. He was doing everything in his power to distance himself from Christ and we are doing the same thing when we cuss

I love listening to him. He truly loves God and it definitely shows. I was a potty mouth big time but I made a conscious decision to stop. I'm doing better but when I get angry, I fail miserably.
