You shouldn’t be teaching sinus tachycardia is not 100-150 I’ve seen sinus tach in the 190s on heat stroke pts

For adults Sinus Tachycardia is above the rate of 100 BPM. Supraventricular Tachycardia is above 150 BPM. Heat Stroke can be fatal and the heart rate will be very rapid.

I’m reading that defibrillators only work when there is still heart activity, not flatlined. Are all the tv shows bs? Yes apparently they are. Flatline is just so they can get the beep on tv show, but means not recoverable.
