I never saw the series - too busy - but i always saw it in passing on the tube since my older brother was a die-hart fan. After a couple glimpses, i wondered why my "straight as an arrow" brother was watching this gay show. That Dean was so much like my bi lovers, i just thought that he was. I laughed when i came across the fanfare on YT, because i misunderstood the whole story....then learned that i really didn't 😎

I've always found it extremely telling that Dean never said "i'm straight" to Aaron and just casually said "nah i'm working" as if he would have taken the offer otherwise. It's an acting choice, same as closing his legs, covering his dick and getting flustered when Cas comes out of the bathroom all clean (which to me is his gayest moment). I think Jensen sarted playing into this after Cas to feed the fandom and plays dumb about it to keep us riled up and invested lol
