Bill de Blasio left NYC in a mess. 8 years wasted. They need to come down hard on the repeat offenders and stop with the kid gloves. I'm no fan of Adams but he's got a lot to clean up.

The problem is yhe whole judiciary/ justice system. Rikers lsland is a dormant volcano waiting to explode. When you have a correctional facility runned by the inmates instead of the corrections officers, this is an indication how bad the city has become. Along with the vast socioeconomicsl differences between people.

Action kid good luck in Florida better down there no mask low taxes and better opportunities to build a better life. Here in NYC it's not going to get any better. Albany and the city council are holding this city hostage with these policies and the police are still afraid to do their jobs also NYC is anti business rent taxes too high that's why have so many store fronts that are empty That's why their is really no opportunity here. And people leave and go elsewhere. I wish you well good luck.

As much as people complain and then really leave the city....there's not another place like it. Fl-a-DUH sucks for a gazillion reasons. The moronic governor Ron DeathSantis is the worst thing to happen. The people down there are freaking nuts, but not just nuts, nuts with tons of guns. Yes I was born and raised in the city and Fl-a-Duh has a lot of violence too...

Just today at work I found $6.00 at my job. I work part time (retired) and I took to the front desk. The front desk person told me "finders keepers", I know it wasn't a lot, but I felt like I didn't know if that was the person's last $6.00. I work in medical center, so I know that between the hours of 12-1pm is lunch so no patients. I told her when I return from upstairs & no one claims then I will claim it. No one claimed, so she gave it to me. But I wouldn't want to keep anyone's money that might be their last. I feel I am blessed to be retired & can work part time just for something to do. Looks like Sheepshead Bay / Gravesend / Midwood Brooklyn. You’re right about the City, it’s become a haunt for the criminally insane. I don’t go in anymore, not even by car. Hope ActionKid will be ok, Miami, FL has an even higher crime rate. Lots of crazy violent crime and drugs in Florida. He will need to be careful there too.
