Thank you for this video. Have you ever had this chain breaker not work right?… or break on you? My chain breaker from GoPowerSports just broke. The pin broke. Ticks me off because now I have to wait another 2 weeks or longer to get another one from them if I go that route again. Also, can you replace the pin on this one if it breaks?
@AJsRacingJourney
@AJsRacingJourney 2 ай бұрын
Great question, I had similar experience as you did and I when I started karting. I broke a pin due to not aligning the pin correctly and I was rushing. Needless to say I had to go to a local shop near me to get another one. I'm not sure you can repair it. Do you have a local shop near by that you can grab one from? Also, if you are in the US check out Acceleration kart (website) in Vegas, they could get you one ASAP although shipping might be expensive.

@@AJsRacingJourney I ordered the one you were using in this video. I hope it doesn’t break and that it aligns the pins better :-).
@AJsRacingJourney
@AJsRacingJourney 2 ай бұрын
@@MountainEagle77 That's awesome, let me know how it works out for you. One thing I learned about using the chain breaker is that you have to align the pin hole and the pin, as well as pushing the pin slowly. If you feel that as you push the pin and it feels like it has tension, just back out and re align the pin and go back at it again. Taking your time and going slow is the key. Good luck and let me know if you need help.

How do the numbers on the jets work?
@AJsRacingJourney
@AJsRacingJourney 6 ай бұрын
The numbers correlates to how lean or rich you want to run your engine. The lower the number indicates that lean jet setting and the higher the number means rich setting. Typically, to optimize your set up for your main jet, you would need a software such as rotax jetting app to tell you the optimum jet.
