1. Not enough screws provided for the end and mid brackets - I was three short. 2. For the hand drawn version, do not follow the instructions as above when you have to tie the three knots behind the master carrier. Do not cut off the excess when he says so! What he does not explain, is that if you put too much tension on the cord in that step, you will have a hard time wrapping the cord around the back of the master carrier. You may need to undo the three knots to give yourself enough cord to wrap around the rear of the master carrier, and avoid having guitar string like tension that grinds on the tension loop. Only once you have the correct tension after all that, then cut the excess off. I nearly could not install these because that was not explained well.

We found the ceiling mounts are in the pack… just need to be unbolted from the wall brackets (we may get an additional pack for extra strength though as there are only 3)

We have done everything you said for the heavy duty track but now once we put the curtains on it but now it gets stuck on the left-hand side won’t open fully and hubby seems to think that it’s dragging in the track on the right hand side you can hear it making a noise what can be done with it we have been working on it for 5 hours plus 3 hours round trip to spotlight please help 😢

Installed these easily today. Any moderately handy person can do this job. Every problem described in the comments is caused by failure to read or follow the instructions. All the required parts are present for both wall or ceiling mounting.

would I recommend these? No. instructions are not clear. so many different options for mounting no clear direction. I paid 200$, and I wish I paid 600 and got some good ones garbage .

How do you make it right to left opening? Instructions are maddening.

Gliders get jammed in the extension of the rail everytime when pulling. So frustrated, used wd40 and silicon spray, but nothing works, a total waste of time.

Regrettably, this video demonstration is not consistent with the Caprice tracks I purchased as it does not click onto the brackets, which have to be fastened to the wall. If you release new products or adapted products, then you need to update your videos so that customers feel properly supported.

I annoyed because I wanted to mount this curtain inside the window casing. Pretty upset because I’m not going to be able to do this! I could but how the hell do you fit the rod into it?

"Drop the tracks into the heavy duty brackets." Good one. First of all, it doesn't look anything like the tracks you clicked onto the brackets which were fastened to that wall. And in any case, it was so amateurish how he just left the track sitting off kilter in the bracket on the table. This is some lazy bullshit. Anyway, I checked the product review of these Tribeca tracks and apparently they twist out of shape and have poor ratings. EDIT: Also, at 5:18 he didn't wrap the cord around that right hand side, little upper notch, the ones that point diagonally to the centre, like the left. WTF, Spotlight?!

I just purchased these in NZ. The packaging says for both wall and ceiling mounting. Drove the 40 minutes home, opened the packet only to read that I had to buy seperate mountings for the ceiling. Waste of time and money to do another 1.30 round trip to get the right fittings when the outside packaging makes no mention of needing seperate brackets. Extremely misleading.

Caprice needs to re invent the paper instruction guide with a LOT more detail. With a 120 wide blind going in to a 117 recess, how much do I cut off to allow for bracket and roller fixtures?

This does not show enough of how to measure for cutting. How much space is needed for brackets etc

It would be helpful to list the drill bit size to use when drilling into masonry in prep for wall plugs. I can't find this information?

Thanks Bob. We just had to cut the anchor points with a Stanley knife to get the child safety clips out. They certainly didn’t come out that easy when we tried it. Everything else was easy.

this is a pretty good vid. I installed 4 blinds this afternoon. Was able to manage it with not much drama. The vid could be a bit more detailed, eg: how the ends fit and measuring etc. There is a bit of wriggle room with the measurements but not much! Good job.

Your steps are not detailed. I got 4 brackets but u were too quick to show one bracket in the first type of blind . Ur video doesn’t tell which blind u are talking about. Instructions in the blind set are not clear too.

I spent the entire day installing the heavy duty tracks and they are useless. Illnow have to spend more time uninstalling and returning them. I came to this video as the instructions they came with wasn't the product I purchased. The centre support brackets do not hold the track at all and the rod keeps falling out. Hopeless quality and design

No top fix installation instructions, the instructions that came with the heavy duty refers to items not in the package such as the pulley housing.

Unfortunately Caprice blinds do not all come with metal fittings. The two blinds I recently purchased came with very flimsy and flexible plastic brackets that do not provide a secure fit (the blind falls down when the chain is pulled, even gently); plastic bead chains that jam and do not actually turn the roller; and cheap alloy screws that hollow out when used (so they can't be easily removed). The good news is that the fabric does block out light. I made it work by swapping the fabric onto the old self-sprung roller frame with metal brackets.

Has not clarified which way round the blinds should be installed or if it matters. Video suggests sheer blind closest to glass with block-out blind on the room side. I expected the other way round with block-out on the sun side. Does it matter? I looked at the video to get advice on this but it was not provided. Unfortunately the video focused on sprooking the product rather than providing vital installation information. The instructions provided with the product are inadequate crying out for some illustrations and not just text.
