10年位前に夏休みの映画特集でMXかジェイコムで、淳史君の主演って事で、たまたま興味が湧きビデオに録画しました。映画放映の頃、多分、タモリ倶楽部でも鉄塔マニアの紹介があったり興味は有りました。めちゃくちゃ奥の深い映画で何度も観ました。また、余談ですが、うちの次男がチビノリダーと言うあだ名だったので淳史さんには親近感があります。小説も、図書館で読み、意外な事に？ずっと予約が入っていて、借りて読めたのは3ヶ月先の事でした。図書館で借りた小説本はまた感動が多く、結局、ネットで状態の良い本を買いました。自分の少年時代が蘇り、また、自分の子供達に見て欲しい作品です。

This song reminded me of the time i was in the the seventh grade when I started this new school and I saw this girl named Anna Thompson. She was the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen & I instantly fell in love. every time the weekend came, I couldn’t wait till it was Monday so I can see her. I used to do all these things to get her attention in recess to impress like her flip off of objects and stuff. Til one day this girl walked up to me and said “hey can you do another flip I’ll give you three dollars”. So I did it, but I fell on my face. I looked in the mirror and I had the biggest bump on my head I’ve ever seen in my life, my tooth went through my lip, and I just looked like bizarro. The very next day, a girl named Lindsey walked up to me and told me that my crush, Anna Thompson from social studies likes me. I was happy, but I told myself she wouldn’t like me looking like this😔 I thought that I was ugly due to the bruises and scars. Then when my face finally healed & i walked to the bus stop and saw her kissing another boy. My heart dropped to my stomach, the first heartbreak I ever experienced in my life. This song just rekindled those memories.

高校野球の中継と読経の声が聞こえる。これぞ、日本の夏。そして、昭和最後期から平成前期の小学生の夏休みでもあった。映画自体は、1996年の夏に、長尾直樹監督によって撮影をされています。初期のデスクトップコンピューターや公衆電話等もある、平成初期の映画ですが、本当に秀作です。ちょっと狐につままれたような、怪談話を聞いているような、不安を感じさせる夏の夕方の寂寥感もある。トラックから逃げるシーンは、まさに和製「スタンド・バイ・ミー」ですね。また、地元武蔵野の何気ない里山の風景を記録し続けてくれた、郷土資料的な価値もあり、本当に貴重です。そしてなんだか、合計約88本の鉄塔を、最終鉄塔から若い0番に向けて「逆廻り」をするお遍路さんの旅のようにも思えてきます。ちなみに、↓は私が2002年当時に作成した、鉄塔武蔵野線「ツアーガイド」（今風に言えば「聖地巡礼」のホームページです。）サーバーが飛んでいたので、再upしました。リンク等はほとんど切れてしまってはいますが、もし良かったら、ご覧下さい。 musashino88.stars.ne.jp/musashinosenphoto/musashinosenphoto.html
